Jesus and the Third Seal, the Black Horse

Recently I spoke about Jesus and the Second Seal, the Red Horse, which ushers in the rider who takes peace from the earth. Now let’s turn our attention to the third seal in the Book of Revelation for a  comparison to the teachings of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. It’s important for Christians to be aware what will happen during these difficult times. Personally, it seems we are further along than many realize and we could easily be living in the end of days, or, last days. Which brings up the subject many Christians believe will take place, the Rapture, or being caught up. Which I plan on discussing soon.

But regardless of where we are in the Book of Revelation we are to continue sharing the Good News just as our Lord Jesus Christ instructed. This is so others can learn about God and His great love for mankind and hopefully keep them from the Lake of Fire.

The Third Seal – Famine, Scarcity

Revelation 6:5,6 – When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and See.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”

The third seal introduces the rider on the black horse. But let’s read Matthew, Mark and Luke to see how it aligns with the Third Seal of Revelation.

Matthew 24:7b – And there will be famines.

Mark 13:8c – And there will be famines and troubles.

Luke 21:11b – And famines and pestilences;

For Matthew, I use 7b, for Mark 8c and Luke 11b. The reason I wrote the scriptures in this way is because the earliest manuscripts in Greek did not contain punctuation, spaces between words, had no Chapter Dividers, no individual headings, but, one long, continuous page of words. Man is the one who added punctuation, spaces, chapters and headings for ease of reading. This could be one of the reasons many people do not associate the teachings of Christ to the Seals found in the Book of Revelation. But as you can see, from the very teachings of the Lord Christ Jesus, His words align perfectly with what the Apostle John saw in the Book of Revelation regarding the third seal.

But now it’s time to turn to our attention to the second seal in the Book of Revelation and compare it to the teachings of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. It’s important for Churches to be teaching these things that are leading up to the tribulations, the end times, along with preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ so people can understand what will take place and what the Lord Jesus Christ said about this difficult time.

The Second Seal – Peace From Earth, War

Revelation 6:3,4 – When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and See.” Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.

The second seal introduces the rider on the red horse. But let’s read Matthew, Mark and Luke to see how it aligns with the Second Seal of Revelation.

Matthew 24:6,7a – And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Mark 13:7,8a – But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Luke 21:9,10 – But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately. Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Jesus and the First Seal, the White Horse

When Christians begin reading the Book of Revelation they often find themselves confused by the language regarding the Seals, the Trumpets, the Bowls, God’s Judgment and the Harvest. But I will show you how Matthew, Mark, and Luke all mirror the seven seals spoken of in the Book of Revelation. Starting with the first seal I will apply each of the scriptures and show how they connect to one of the 7 Seals.

The First Seal – The Conqueror

Revelation 6:1,2 – Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, “Come and See.” And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.

So we see that the first seal is a rider on a white horse. But let’s read Matthew, Mark Luke and John and see how it aligns with the First Seal of Revelation.

Matthew 24:4,5 – And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My Name, saying, I am the Christ, and will deceive many.”

Mark 13:5,6 – And Jesus, answering them, began to say: Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My Name, saying I am He, and will deceive many.

Luke 21:8,9 – And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived.” For many will come in My Name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’

These three Gospels align with what the Apostle John sees in the Book of Revelation regarding the first seal.

It’s at this stage that many connect Him to Christ since Christ rides a white horse. But to prove the rider on the White Horse is NOT Christ, let’s see how Christ is described when He is seen riding the White Horse, the Scriptures read;

Revelation 19:11,13 – Now I saw heaven opened, and He who sat on Him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called the Word of God.

As one can see from this description found in Revelation, the only time Christ rides a white horse is when He comes to strike the nations.

There is another point I would like to make, there isn’t any scriptures stating Christ with a bow, but, there are many which speaks of Jesus as a Sword or baring a Sword. For instance, Jesus tells us;

Matthew 10:34 – Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.

Jesus Christ is the Word of God and we know from the Armor of God that the Sword of the Spirit, is the Word of God!

The rider of the first seal, with one crown is none other than those who represent false christs who claim to be the Lord Jesus Christ, which also includes the antichrist. Many will come in His name and these false Christ will use His name to deceive many. Think Jim Jones, David Koresh and many others…

Jesus warned us, do not be deceived!

Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod and Ekron in Bible Prophecy

I was a bit surprised when I came across this Bible prophecy which speaks of Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod and Ekron. Although it speaks of the Philistines, we can see the similarities. You see, in this prophecy God calls them a shameful nation and tells them to gather together before the decree takes effect before the Day of the LORD’s anger comes upon them. But let’s look at these scriptures, which reads;

Gather yourselves, gather together, O shameful nation, before the decree takes effect and the day passes like chaff, before the burning anger of the LORD comes upon you, before the Day of the Lord’s anger comes upon you. Seek the LORD, all you humble of the earth who carry out His justice. Seek righteousness; seek humility. Perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the LORD’s anger.

For Gaza will be abandoned, and Ashkelon left in ruins. Ashdod will be driven out at noon, and Ekron will be uprooted. Woe to the dwellers of the seacoast, O nation of the Cherethites! The word of the LORD is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: “I will destroy you, and no one will be left.” So the seacoast will become a land of pastures, with wells for shepherds and folds for sheep. The coast will belong to the remnant of the house of Judah; there they will find pasture. They will lie down in the evening among the houses of Ashkelon, for the LORD their God will attend to them and restore their captives.

Zephaniah 2:1-7

As a believer, I’m praying for the hearts of Israel, the Palestinians and the terrorists involved to turn away from these atrocities and turn to the LORD. I’m also praying for GOD’s will to be done and NOT mans. And just as things have happened thousand of years ago we are watching history repeat itself.

Regardless of your belief, in the darkest hour there is hope for those who trust, believe, and rely on the LORD!

Loving in Difficult Times

Now more than ever, believers, Christians, followers of our Lord, Christ Jesus, need to be very aware of what we’re projecting. The images we’ve seen over social media, listened to in news reports, heard from friends or family members have horrified us, we must keep in mind that we are held at a different standard. Our first priority is to ensure we’re following Christ’s teaching because we have the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, within us which teaches us to walk by the Spirit.

During this most difficult time for Israel we are called to sympathize with them, to mourn with them, to pray for them, to love them, but, the teachings of Christ are very clear, we are also called to pray for our enemies. Jesus said it best when He stated;

But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute
you, so that you may prove yourselves to be sons of your Father who
is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and
sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Matthew 5:44,45

As believers, we know from Bible Prophecy what’s going to occur and the reason why it’s happening. So don’t allow yourselves to get caught up in these worldly arguments or disagreements, instead, do what every believer is called to do, exhibit love even in the most difficult times.

Four Crescent Moons

Last night before I laid down to sleep I practiced some scripture memorization, read in the Book of Enoch then switched to the Bible and did some reading in the Book of Acts, Romans and Psalm. Since I’m so drawn to the Book of Psalm I try to read at least one chapter before I fall to sleep. And of course during my prayer time I like to remind God, I’m His servant put here to do His will. And with that said, He sent me a dream along with an answer to something I’ve been praying about.

It appeared to be late evening or in the wee hours of the morning when I saw what looked like 4 (possibly 5 but believe I counted four), crescent moon signs sticking in the ground. Each sign was standing at different heights with a dull dark orange tint behind them. After briefly glancing at them, I looked at each of the signs starting with the far right, the shortest, and continued till I came to the last one standing in the center, the tallest.

Immediately after looking at these crescent moon signs I was taken to a bright sunny day location to pick up my children. As we got in the car and I started it up I realized it was packed with people. My husband was sitting in the passenger side, I was driving, and my children were sitting on the edge of the back seat leaning forward as they talked to us. But the car was packed with people I didn’t know and before I could put the car into reverse and hit the gas pedal it begin to roll backwards. My children and the other people began to panic wondering what was happening as it gained momentum and begin to speed up in a reverse projection. It was as if the car had a mind of it’s own, and, I couldn’t do anything to stop it. Then, the car begin to cross over the road and I thought we would crash, but, instead it was picked up.

All of a sudden the car started spinning round as it was caught inside of a white wind tunnel. I could hear and see the wind all around us, and even though it was loud it wasn’t destructive. The car was being controlled, never tipping, tilting, rolling over or anything of that nature, it remained completely level. Since there wasn’t any damaging issues with the car itself, we became calm inside and enjoyed a smooth and comfortable ride. Then one of my daughters stated, we’re going over the railroad tracks, it was at that point we were completely lifted up into the air and the dream ended.

I believe these crescent moon signs are literally “actual” signs that point to something “significant” taking place in September. Please, get your hearts right with God, study His word and do as Jesus taught, because, everything is about to change…

Remember, all dreams are given to edify the Church, pray and ask Jesus to provide the truth to you. Because our faith, our belief, our trust, and our hope is in Jesus, Yeshua, the Messiah, our Lord. God bless.

For Love of Money

Christians are at a crossroads because the Biden administration is ushering in the CBDC Digital Payment System that is launching July 2023. It’s called, FEDNow 24/7 Instant Payments, and you can learn all about it in the Learning and Resources News Center section of their site or read all about it at What is Central Bank Digital Currency(CBDC)?

Now, I’m not suggesting this is in the mark of the beast, at least, not at this phase because it still remains to be seen. However, from my understanding the CBDC Banking system needs to be in place in all the participating countries before it can be connected on a global level. But do NOT be deceived their whole initative is to have a global financial system and I believe this will play a part in it. Not to mention, the US has spent years developing this behind closed doors so there’s no telling just how deep into it we really are. Meaning, we may be alot closer globally than many realize. Couple this with what’s going on in the world and you see the Biblical scriptures come to life, which says;

A mouth was given to him speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven. It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority was given to him over every tribe, people, language, and nation. All who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written since the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slaughtered. If anyone has an ear, let him hear.. Revelation 13:5-9

When you read this carefully, you can see how all the governments have the spirit of the antichrist in them. Why do I say that? Because all of them are trying to implement “wokeism“, the killing of babies through legalizing abortion, transgender ideology, pushing LGBQT indoctrination in schools, establishing a global CBDC so actual cash will be completely phased out. So yeah, the governments are drowning in the spirit of the antichrist. And these are just a few of the blasphemies and heresies against God that is taking place in our age today.

Remember, the Bible says you can tell by their fruit. All this means is you can tell by a person’s character, their actions, how they speak, their morals and values what they’re truly about, in other words, what really matters to them. In the case of Biden, his administration and his family, it’s pretty apparent what they stand for. Let’s take a look at what the fruit of the spirit scripture says;

But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22,23

This means, the governments, the leaders, the powerful, the elites, the WEF, UN and the Pope(probably) will be the ones who usher in the antichrist and will give their power to him. But notice what else the Bible says;

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Revelation 13: 16,17

I believe the mark is Spiritual as well as an actual physical mark and there’s no doubt in my mind governments are diligently working to implement their system. It’s why you see banks collapsing, cash apps disappearing, countries working together in global unity to create a global financial currency, a global military, and a global religion.

Do NOT be tricked, misguided or manipulated, they will always claim their method is safer, more secure, faster and more efficient. Eventually, everyone will need some kind of mark to participate in their program. Whether it’s a digital ID, a chip, an implant or whatever, those who refuse it, Christians, Preppers and Homesteaders, will be deemed an enemy.

But as a Christian I know better, I know the Bible is very clear, those who refuse to worship the beast will be killed.

And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. Revelation 13:14,15

It’s coming and every Christ follower needs to be prepared!

Update On Black Sea

Yesterday I created a post entitled, “Strengthening the Black Sea” and didn’t understand what the dream meant.

After watching a Pre-Tribulation Rapture Christian movie, and looking at a Christian persecution video, the meaning was revealed.

I believe majority of the countries surrounding the Black Sea area will fall inline with Russia. And President Putin will secure this area and even possibly Ukraine. Unfortunately, this means Turkey as well.

This is the scenario I believe may happen, however, not a 100%.

Pray for this situation, pray for those being persecuted for Jesus and pray for Israel.

Explosion

Last night during prayer time an image appeared before my eyes which was a first for me. It’s a vision of something to come that I’m to share and warn others on, and with that said, this is what I saw.

I was positioned above a city but off to the left side of the buildings roughly 100 to 300 feet away from them. There were several highrise buildings then all of a sudden I saw something flying through the air and hitting one of the buildings causing a massive explosion. And naturally, a large fire broke out. The explosion happened on a beautiful sunny day, in broad daylight, appeared to be warm like spring time weather and while I wasn’t given the location of this city I could tell it was a modern one.

The vision happened so quickly that I don’t recall seeing roads, but, the buildings seemed to be positioned along water or a coastline and from the way this city was positioned it seemed to be facing eastward. I didn’t see any trees, or actual land, just a modern city with blue in front of it. Which indicated a possible city which sits very close to water. The image above is similar to how I saw this city located near the water so you have an idea of what I’m referring to. Like I said, I don’t know the location just the wallpaper was similar, but, there are several locations I can think of which could fit what I saw, however, I don’t want to speculate.

While I don’t know what caused the explosion something appeared to fly through the air then the whole scene changed to an explosion and an eruption of fire.

Pray for this situation as I will also continue to pray, but, do NOT loose hope! Because God is in control, He has a plan and you can believe, trust, hope and rely on Him.

If you don’t know our Lord and Savior, there’s no better time like the present to learn about the, Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Memorizing Scripture

A couple of weeks ago I decided to implement a plan to help me memorize scripture. While I love reading and studying the Bible I believe it’s extremely important to have scriptures memorized. But it can be difficult so I thought I would share my process.

A few things I’ve found helpful, is to start with scriptures which you’re drawn to, start with shorter scriptures, and memorize one scripture per week. Since the first day of the week is Sunday for me, that’s usually when I will start and try to end it on the Sabbath. Of course, there are exceptions and if for some reason you find yourself straying from the process don’t beat yourself up, just start over.

First, Pray to God asking for help memorizing scripture then I use a large spiral notebook with lined pages and write the scripture location as the heading. Example, Luke 4:8

Next, I write the actual scripture in the lined body portion of the page underneath the heading.

And Jesus answered and said to him, Get behind Me, satan! For it is written, you shall worship the Lord your God and him only you shall serve. Luke 4:8

But to actually help me memorize the scripture, after I’ve written it down the first time, I will skip one line and rewrite it. I do this process over and over for a whole week on the same page I started with, the front, the back and even the next blank page if needed.

If for some reason I’m still having difficulty with this scripture I will change things up and go to a new one. If I still have time left within the week I will go back to the one I was having difficulty with and continue the same process as before. And if I still can’t get it I completely back away from it and return at a later date.

But there are other ways to help you memorize scripture you just need to find the one which works best for you. For me it’s writing the scripture then rewriting it over and over until it’s cemented into my brain. For you it maybe;

Using index cards. Write the verse on one side and the location on the backside.

Record your voice reading the scripture than while studying, relaxing or sleeping listen to your recording.

Meditate on the scripture during your one on one time.

Turn the scripture into a song. Now you don’t have to write your own music, use a tune that sticks in your head and apply the words. Select music that is catchy or upbeat to make the process easier.

But why should we memorize scripture anyway?

One of the main reasons to memorize scripture is because Jesus Himself, the Word of God, quoted scriptures throughout His ministry. It also helps us fight temptation by putting on the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20). It helps us live in obedience to God by following His word since we’re told to let the word of Christ dwell within us (Colossians 3:16). And of course, memorizing scriptures makes us a better witness to non-believers (1 Peter 3:15).

But I believe there’s another reason, because I believe a time is coming when the Bible will be a crime, Christian Churches will be closed down, and Christianity will no longer be tolerated. It will be a crime to own a Bible, a crime to mention the name Jesus and a crime to attend a Christian Church. And when you look at Bible Prophecy, specifically, the Book of Revelation it says;

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood? Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been. Revelation 6:9-11

See what I mean? There will be more persecution, and this is another reason to memorize scriptures so that you can stand strong in your faith if and when that time comes.

Plus, memorizing scriptures reaffirms our faith, gives us peace of mind, gives us hope knowing the Lord Christ Jesus is coming again…..

If you turn to Ezekiel 38:2 the Prophet Ezekiel is prophesying against Gog, of the land of Magog, the Prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. A little further down in Ezekiel 38:5 he prophesies that Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet. The ancient country Persia is today’s modern Iran.

Looking at the 2nd list Ethiopia is the only Christian nation that is close to Israel and, unfortuanately, many of the Christian residents are being persecuted. So when I look at this list, I believe Ethiopia will be forced to convert to the Islam religion leaving Israel completely surrounded by Muslims.

From the looks of the Middle East, it’s highly probable, the next big empire will revolve around the Islam religion. I’ve already seen articles stating Erdogan of Turkey is wanting to revive the Ottoman Empire.

The Ottoman Caliphate or Empire was created by Turkish tribes in Anatolia around the 13th century and it grew to be one of the most powerful empires for more than 600 years before it came to an end in 1922. Among some of the countries which were aligned with them were, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Asia Minor (Turkey), East Thrace, Iran, the Levant, Mesopotamia and the Socotra Archipelego, North Africa, the Caucasus, and Eastern Europe.

While I always believed Russia would be a part of the antichrist system I don’t believe it will be it’s leader. From everything I’ve read compared to how the way the Middle East is taking shape, and, if Erdogan has his way, the Ottoman Empire will be revived. Turkey will be it’s leader along with many of the other Muslim countries.

For an indepth study of where the sons of Japheth is located read the Table of Nations listed in Genesis 10, you may realize what you’ve been told throughout your lifetime regarding the nations of the End Times isn’t exactly correct. If one wants to know the truth, studying the Bible, instead of listening to man, is the best way to learn. Alot of false doctrines out there so beware…..

Reading the Bible Symbolically

Reading and understanding the Book of Revelation can often be a daunting task, but, the Bible does tell us that the Holy Spirit will guide, teach and direct us. He may lead us to someone that’s more knowledgeable but He will always teach us. But regardless, there is a rule of thumb when reading the Bible.

Regardless where you’re reading in the Bible, you should read the text as it is written without any symbolic interpretation UNLESS the Bible tells you to. Meaning, if the interpretation isn’t necessary you just read the text as it appears and don’t interpret it. If the text is symbolic, the scripture will interpret itself usually further down within the scriptures.

Let’s look at an example found in Revelation 11, which refers to the 2 witnesses.

And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. Revelation 11:8

So how would one interpret this scripture?

You don’t interpret it, instead, you read it just the way it’s written. This scripture is letting the reader know there will be 2 witnesses that will be killed and their bodies will remain in the street. But what else does it say? It says in the great city, which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified.

How do we interpret the phrase, spiritually called Sodom and Egypt? Again, you don’t because if you continue reading the answer is provided. It provides the answer when it states, where also our Lord was crucified. Where was our Lord Jesus crucified? JERUSALEM.

Even within the different books of the prophets an angel would appear to interpret the prophet’s dream. So all one needs to do is continue reading and let the Bible guide you.

It’s important to understand one shouldn’t make assumptions when reading the Bible. We want to focus where the Bible focuses, and be silent when the bible is silent on any particular subject. When the Bible speaks symbolically, the text will interpret itself.

Palm Scanning Technology

Today as I was catching up on my daily watch, I noticed a story which caught my attention. Amazon is expanding their palm scanning technology to 65 more whole food locations. This is pretty telling, because, those who refuse to adhere to this technology will NOT be allowed inside to purchase food. While this may not be the actual mark of the beast it is headed in that direction. Systems need to be in place so when the antichrist steps into public view, he can MANDATE everyone must take his mark.

The Bible is very clear on this matter, ANYONE who takes the mark of the beast WILL suffer GOD’S WRATH! There’s no ifs, ands, or buts about it, you take the mark and you’ll suffer the consequences. But what exactly does the Bible say about the antichrist and his mark?

He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Revelation 13:16,17

Most people, including Christians, believe they’ll recognize the mark when it appears. But let me say this, Satan is a deceiver and so is his seed. The US government right now is working to abolish paper money by implementing a digital system. When you think about it the whole debit card issue was created to get people used to using digital money by making it fast, convenient and simple. But get this, recently amazon is pushing people to scan their palm by stating it’s more private than other biometric alternatives and they’re also hoping to sell this technology to other retail outlets. See what I mean?

This is why it’s so important to keep your eyes open to what’s going on in the world and to believe, trust and rely on the Lord Jesus. Because a couple of scriptures which Jesus said keeps coming to mind, He said;

He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.

Matthew 10:37,38

When you look at this scripture in context of where our world is headed this scripture takes on a whole new meaning. As a mother I love my children, but, I do NOT love them more than Jesus. This means if I’m faced with the decision of receiving the mark to feed my children or following Jesus, my choice is simple. I MUST follow the Lord Jesus! Unfortunately, many will choose their children.

Remember, choices have consequences………But there is hope! Hope in the Lord Jesus, the Christ.

How?

By understanding the mercy, love and grace God bestowed upon us! From the beginning man sinned against God by disobeying our creator. And the penalty for that sin was death.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

But God did something amazing, He sent His ONLY Son to be born of flesh to a virgin, because, He loved us that much.

But the angel said to her, do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call Him Jesus. Luke 1:30,31

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whover believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16

But instead of Jesus being accepted as the Messiah the Jewish Pharisees, scribes and some of the people rejected Him, as foretold by the Prophet Isaiah. It was at that point he was sacrificed on the cross for the sins of the world.

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed. We all like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:5,6

Although, Christ was sacrificed on the cross, He rose on the 3rd day! Our Lord Jesus lives, because, we serve a LIVING GOD!

The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified, and on the third day be raised again. Luke 24:6,7

So, how can one be saved?

Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this? John 11:25,26

And the Apostle Paul says it this way;

If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

The 5th Seal – Persecution

In our world there has never been any form of faith that has endured as much persecution as Christianity. Christians all over the world are being punished, imprisoned, beaten, kidnapped, tortured, raped and executed. All because of their faith in our Lord Jesus the Christ.

In the Open Doors watch list over 360 million Christians suffered high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith. Among the Open Doors information it states 1 in 7 Christians are persecuted worldwide. And that doesn’t include the many churches and facilities that are destroyed.

Why are so many Christians being persecuted world wide?

The Bible tells us exactly why Christians are being persecuted so let’s examine the Bible to see what it says. In the Book of Revelation the Apostle John is providing information from his vision for the 7 churches located in Asia Minor (Turkey) and this is what he says regarding the souls that are martyred;

When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been killed because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained; and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, how long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who live on the earth? And a white robe was given to each of them; and they were told that they were to rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers and sisters who were to be killed even as they had been, was completed also. Revelation 6:9-11

The early Church has always endured persecution whether from the Jewish Pharisees, the Roman Empire or their Muslim neighbors. And as a Christian we each have a duty to prepare ourselves, our family and the Church for what’s coming. How? By building up our faith. We do this through Prayer, Worship, Fasting, Bible Study, and my all time favorite, learning scriptures.

Because when the antichrist appears on the scene Christians must be prepared to do battle, even to death!
