God’s Love is Not Worldly Love

As I journey through the scriptures I’m constantly reminded that God’s love is completely different than worldly love. So, I’m not a bit surprised how many look to this world for their information about what love is. Because as you look at societies today many have fallen for these twisted snares easily found. I continue to see the decline in morality, in family values and GODLY LOVE. The Scriptures read;

And we have come to know and believe
the love that God has for us. God is love;
whoever abides in love abides in God,
and God in Him.

1 John 4:16

From the scriptures we learn, God is love. Which makes perfect sense when we read the scripture which states;

For God so love the world that He
gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should
not perish but have everlasting
life. For God did not send His Son
into the world to condemn the
world, but the world through
Him might be saved.

John 3:16,17

God sent His only Son to save the world from these worldly temptations, twisted snares and ideologies. But many are so worldly that they’ve separated themselves from God since they choose to live their lives according to what the world instructs instead of what God says.

How can one know if they’re living in worldly love? The scriptures provide information, which reads;

1 John 2:16 – For all that is in the world – the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life – is not from the Father but is from the world.

Romans 8:5-8 – Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God.

Galatians 5:19-21 – Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: Sexual immorality, impurity, indecent behavior, idolatry, witchcraft, hostilities, strife, jealousy, out bursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

From these scriptures alone, it’s pretty clear that those who choose to live worldly lives are NOT inline with God’s ways. Because the flesh is hostile to God laws. In other words, those who choose to focus on anything other than God does not have His love in them. And as we see more and more deterioration in the world, in society, believers are aware that we are drawing closer to the Day of the Lord. The scriptures read;

2 Timothy 3:1-5 – But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good, traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!

Of course, it’s up to each of us to decide, follow God or follow the ways of this world!

Complexity of God

There are many scriptures which lead me to believe that God is Jesus just in a different form. Because in the Jewish culture, the Messiah, was the one the Jewish people were waiting for. Unfortunately, when the Son of God appeared they didn’t recognize Him. Even though Jesus told them if you don’t believe Me, believe the works which I do as a witness to who I AM. So I’ve put together several scriptures which speaks to who Jesus was, the first one reads;

Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet
fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
Jesus said to them, Most assuredly, I say to
you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
John 8:57,58

The Pharisees, Scribes and the Jewish people would recognize this name because this is the name given to Moses at the burning bush. The name which God revealed as, I AM, allowing the children of Israel to follow Moses out of Egypt into their own land. But let’s look at a few others;

Exodus 3:14 – And GOD said to Moses, I AM;” and He said, “This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel: I AM has sent me to you.”

Deuteronomy 4:35 – You were shown these things so that you might know that the LORD, He is God; there is no other besides Him.

Zechariah 12:10 – And I will pour out on the House of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and of pleading, so that they will look on Me, whom they pierced; and they will mourn for Him, like one mourning for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a first born.

Revelation 1:7 – Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him-even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen.

Micah 5:2 – But as for you Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to be among the clams of Judah, from you One will come forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His times of coming forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity.

Malachi 3:1 – “Behold, I will send My Messenger, who will prepare the way before Me. Then the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple-the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight-see He is coming,” says the Lord of Hosts.

Isaiah 42:8 – I am the LORD, that is My Name; I will not give My Glory to another, nor My Praise to idols.

Isaiah 43:15 – I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, and your King.

Isaiah 44:6 – Thus says the LORD, the King and Redeemer of Israel, the LORD of Hosts: “I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God but Me.

Isaiah 45:5 – “I am the LORD, and there is no one else; There is no God except Me. I will arm you, though you have not known Me.“

Psalm 110:1 – The LORD said to My Lord: “Sit at My right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”

Psalm 45:6,7 – Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever, and justice is the scepter of Your Kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed you above your companions with the oil of joy.

Psalm 100:3 – Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.

John 10:11 – I am the good Shepherd. The good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

John 10:33 – “We are not stoning You for any good work,” said the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because You, who are a man, declare Yourself to be God.“

Colossians 1:15 – The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Isaiah 43:10-13 – “You are My witnesses, ” declares the LORD, and My servant whom I have chosen, so that you many consider and believe Me and understand that I am HE. Before no god was formed, and after Me none will come. I, yes I, am the LORD, and there is no Savior but Me. I alone decreed and saved and proclaimed-I, and not some foreign god among you. So you are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “that I am God. Even from eternity I am He, and none can deliver out of My hand. When I act, who can reverse it?”

John 1:1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

John 1:14 – And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Revelation 1:8 – “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and who was and is to come-the Almighty.

Revelation 19:13 – He was clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

Revelation 19:16 – And he has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS.

We can see by these scriptures that there is ONLY ONE GOD, which means GOD has manifested Himself in different roles. Because in Isaiah, Zechariah, Exodus and even Deuteronomy we’re told over and over the Lord is God and there is no one else. God has declared Himself the King of Israel and no one can reverse it!

But now we have the Son of God who takes away the sin of the world. He did this by becoming the sacrificial lamb. Because it’s through the blood He shed for the remission of sins and to seal the new covenant that we have the opportunity to become sons and daughters to the Almighty.

Humans and Dirt Have the Same Chemical Elements

Today I was holding a conversation in my mind on how to refute Atheist using Biblical Scriptures when a thought out of know where appeared. I knew it was from the Holy Spirit because my mind doesn’t think in terms of science. That’s just not me, but, as I thought about the information the Holy Spirit had given me I had to write about this.

Did you know that Humans and dirt have the same chemical elements? The same chemical composition found in dirt is also found in human beings. Which corresponds to exactly what the Bible states in Genesis 2:7, that man was created from the dust of the earth. While scientist, atheists, leftist, elitist, global leaders, our culture, and others try to refute this claim, these are the facts. But don’t take my word for it, do your own research.

Soil Chemical Elements (Scroll to the Nutrients Section)
Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Sulfur, Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium.
Soil Trace Elements
Boron, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Molybdenum, Zinc, Chlorine, Sodium, Cobalt, Iodine

Googled individually to determine each are in soil
** Cobalt is a trace metal found in soil**
**Sodium levels in soil are often reported as the sodium adsorption ratio (SAR)**
** Iodine is found in varying degrees of the earths soil**

Human Chemical Elements
Oxygen, Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Calcium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sulfur, Sodium, Chlorine, Magnesium.
Human Trace Elements
Iron, Copper, Cobalt, Iodine, Manganese, Zinc, Boron, Molybdenum

If mankind and dirt are so different why do we have the same chemical elements?

Because if you think about it we should be completely different. While there may be smaller amounts of other elements, remember, those are so very low they’re rarely listed. But there will be some differences otherwise we would be nothing but dirt. And again, this proves the main elements found in mankind and dirt are the same. Don’t let science fool you, do you own research and don’t be afraid to discuss these issues when speaking to non-believers.

Jesus Teachings Were Powerful

This evening as I sat down to write I didn’t have a clue as to what I would be writing about, that is, until the Holy Spirit led me to the awareness of just how powerful the teachings Jesus spoke truly were. You see, the people were amazed by His teachings. He spoke with authority and didn’t rely on others to confirm what He spoke. In fact, the scriptures say;

When Jesus had finished with these words, the crowds
were amazed at His teachings; for He was teaching them
as one who had authority, and not as their scribes.

Matthew 7:28

But as I read this scripture and stared at more of His teachings it also dawned on me that it wasn’t only how He spoke, but, also what He taught about. Because everything Jesus taught was a reflection of the Kingdom and learning to live righteously before the living GOD. He gave a fresh perspective on God’s Commandments, one which had never been heard before. The famous Sermon on the Mount teaching Jesus spoke on murder, adultery, marriage, swearing oaths, loving your enemies, doing good to please God, Prayer, fasting, laying up treasures in Heaven, serving God or wealth, worrying, and judging others. He also spoke on the importance to ask, seek and knock, the narrow way, warning against false prophets, and one of the most scariest scriptures found in the Bible, I never knew you.

Jesus closed out this sermon, found in Matthew, by telling the people that whoever hears these sayings of His, and does them, He would liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock, in fact Jesus states;

“Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and
acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on
the rock. And the rain fell and the floods came, and the winds
blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall,
for it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears
these words of Mine, and does not act on them, will be like a
foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell
and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against
that house; and it fell-and it’s collapse was great.”

Matthew 7: 24-27

Jesus knew the only way any of us would be a part of the kingdom was for us to understand the need to REPENT from our old ways, to BELIEVE the Good News, to BELIEVE in Him, and to DENY oneself and take up the Cross and FOLLOW Him. It doesn’t matter if one is an atheist, puts their faith in science, politics, or their current lifestyle is non-traditional. What matters is the love Jesus has for us, but, our culture and current generation is living as if GOD doesn’t exist and the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross was for nothing.

And just as in the days of Noah, time is growing short. Jesus is real, He’s the Son of God, He is coming back and those who do not REPENT, BELIEVE in HIM, and FOLLOW His teachings will be shocked as they see Him coming with the clouds. Yes Jesus is love, but when He first came He laid down His life for our sins. But the next time He comes, it’s one of judgment!

Before it’s too late, REPENT of your sins, Believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, turn from your old ways, and seek righteous living. Because, if you choose NOT to listen to Him and put His teachings into practice, your house will fall and how great that fall will be!

What is a Woman?

Transgender ideology is nothing more than a theology that creates confusion, hate, division and an over reach in our government system. I watched the Ketanji Brown Jackson when she was being nominated for Supreme Court Justice and it made me angry. Why? Because this WOMAN has NO business occupying such an important seat since she blatantly refused to define what a woman is.

So, let me define what a woman really is!

A woman is one who can have a baby naturally from her own body or she can be barren. She has two ovaries, a cervix, a uterus and two fallopian tubes not to mention her private area. The transgender ideology would have you believe that if a man “feels” like a woman, than he is a woman, if a woman “feels” like a man, she’s a man. If a child believes he’s is the opposite gender than what he is born, a cat, a dog, or a cartoon character than the parents should do everything within their power to ensure their child receives everything needed for their child’s FICTIONAL character. These ideologies allow anyone to create their own truth, but the fact is, there is only ONE TRUTH, and it comes from GOD ALMIGHTY Himself! The scriptures read;

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created
him; male and female He created them.

Genesis 1:27

When you read this scripture it’s easy to understand exactly what’s behind the transgender ideology push. It’s simply Spiritual Warfare that goes against God’s TRUTH. Remember what the Apostle Paul stated when he said;

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this world’s darkness, and
against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm.

Ephesians 6:12

If a person of legal age makes the decision to become transgender, that’s their decision. All the Church can do is try to explain to them that God loves them deeply and God didn’t make a mistake when He created them. And each of us must learn how to deal with the burdens we receive. But ultimately it’s their decision, they can choose to work through it or they can choose to give in to it. Either way, the Church plays an important role for these young people. We need to ensure the Gospel is being shared with them before they make such a life altering decision.

The second option I believe all Christians can do is pray that God will reveal exactly what this transgender ideology really is, who’s behind it and will completely abolish it. Remember, Christians are called to love our enemies as well as each other. We do this by presenting God’s TRUTH in a loving manner. Because personally, I don’t want to see anyone go to hell, and the Bible is very clear, those who go against God, who choose to follow their OWN TRUTH will be thrown into Gehenna.

So it’s crystal clear these spiritual forces are actively taking steps to destroy what a woman is, what a man is and what a child is. These unseen entities are moving the hands of political leaders, leftist, elitist, atheists, church leaders, scientist, health providers, and world leaders globally.

They’re allowing these dark forces to work through them instead of holding sacred GOD’s TRUTH and celebrating what HE so wonderfully created.

If I Could Speak to Benjamin Netanyahu

Many Christians find themselves stuck somewhere in the middle of what is happening between Israel and the Palestinian people unable to make a decision of who they support. But for me, the Bible is quite clear on this issue because Jesus said;

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them, expecting nothing in
return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for
He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful just as your Father is merciful.

Luke 6:35

So, if I had the opportunity to speak to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, what would I say?

First, I would start off by saying, two wrongs don’t make a right! Plain and simple what Hamas did to the nation of Israel is absolutely horrific, wrong and absolutely evil! But, we do not repay evil with evil! God gave Israel His Law, His statues and decrees, or, what many Jewish people refer to as the Mosaic Law. Within this Law it clearly states, do not commit murder because those who are under this Law will be judged by this law. You see, since majority of the Israeli people still live under the old covenant, they will be judged by it which means if they break one of the least of these commandments they break them all.

However, saying all this there are Bible Prophecies inspired by the Prophets of the Old Testament that will be fulfilled. So knowing this, I’m not condemning are judging what Israel is doing just stating what Jesus taught.

There will be many soldiers who loose their life and these are those who follow the Old Covenant. When Yeshua (Jesus) came to shepherd the Jewish people almost two thousand years ago they rejected Him. But in the last days, Christ will rise up and will fight their battle and everything will change.

While I know the Torah (Old Testament) was written and inspired by the words, an eye for an eye, are there any scriptures found within the Old Testament we can examine to prove there were those who showed mercy instead of killing? Let’s read the scriptures of David and King Saul, which reads;

May the LORD judge between you and me, and may the LORD take vengeance on you, but my hand will never be against you. As the old proverb says, ‘Wickedness proceeds from the wicked.’ But my hand will never be against you. Against whom has the king of Israel come out? Whom are you pursuing? A dead dog? A flea? May the LORD be our judge and decide between you and me. May He take notice and plead my case and deliver me from your hand.” When David had finished saying these things, Saul called back, “Is that your voice, David my son?”

Then Saul wept aloud and said to David, “You are more righteous than I, for you have rewarded me with good, though I have rewarded you with evil. And you have shown this day how well you have dealt with me; for when the LORD delivered me into your hand, you did not kill me. When a man finds his enemy, does he let him go away unharmed? May the LORD reward you with good for what you have done for me this day.

1 Samuel 24:12-19

While many Christians are mourning with those who have lost loved ones in Israel, and praying for the safe return of the hostages, we must also pray for the Palestinians who are being used as pawns with these terrorists and denounce this demonic evil. But as a believer in the Messiah, Yeshua, Christ Jesus, this is a time to show love and mercy instead of anger, rage, and hate. I’ll leave you with these scriptures;

Colossians 3:8 – But now you must put aside all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

Colossians 3:12 – Since GOD chose you to be the holy people He loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

Proverbs 10:12 – Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses.

Psalm 34:13 – Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD and vengeance is mine says the LORD!

Repent and turn from your ways,
is the message of the narrow path,
as Jesus guides us in this teaching,
we can avoid His coming wrath.

He taught to love our enemies,
a difficult thing to do,
but if we plan to follow the Lord,
we must sever our personal view.

Do not judge is another gem,
a truth we must explore,
though many will continue to condemn,
setting aside wisdom we shouldn’t ignore.

Evil thoughts, hatred, murders and the like,
should cause each to repent,
these feelings buried within our hearts,
is the stumbling block to every wicked event.

Jesus also taught forgiveness,
something we should all strive to do,
cause if we forgive others wrongdoings
we’ll be forgiven too.

When God looks down from heaven,
is He hurt by what He sees,
a world full of chaos,
a world full of greed.

Is His heart full of sorrow,
as we chase temporary things,
seduced by worldly pleasures,
ignoring the heartache it brings.

Does anger stir within Him,
watching from His throne,
when we seek material possessions,
instead of the love we were shown.

Just like Sodom & Gomorrah,
our society continues to stray,
mocking, prideful, and immoral
pushing God further away.

So please heed the warning,
cause they were wicked to the core,
flaunting their sins before God’s eyes,
unaware of the wrath He had in store.

Living the Life

My journey through the scriptures have literally transformed the way I live, the way I believe and the way in which I see the world around me. Because, the way I previously lived was in direct opposition to what Christ Jesus taught. At the very beginning of Jesus ministry He preached;

From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent,
for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”

Matthew 4:17

This is the very same message He gave to His twelve disciples when He sent them out and it’s still the message today. Unless one repents of their sin and believes in Christ Jesus, as the Son of God and accepting He is the ONLY one that can save, life will not be worth living.

In other words, you need to grieve over every wrongdoing that goes against God. Every lie you told, every dollar, piece of candy, office supply, merchandise or money you stole, every sexual encounter you had outside of marriage, every adulterous affair, every word of profanity, crude jokes, indecent behavior, every time you laughed at another’s pain, every angry word spoken, every time you got drunk, took drugs or put work over family or friends, and every time you longed for riches, fame or power. Because God wants us to turn away from living this type of lifestyle that the world so readily embraces. He wants us to renew our minds, to change how we’ve been living in this world and free ourselves from these dark temptations. The Apostle Paul tells us;

When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear;
sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling,
jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissensions, division, envy, drunkenness,
wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that
anyone living that sort of life will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19-21 (NLT)

Please understand, I’m not judging any of you, because, I too once lived this same lifestyle. I failed to understand that everything in this world is temporary, but, after realizing the difficulties ahead, war on the home front, food shortage, water scarcity, dying off of animals, insects, plant life, and of course money becoming worthless, I knew I needed to make a change. And through God’s amazing grace and His great love for me, I have been saved.

But the real question is, what type of lifestyle are you living? Because if you find yourself listed somewhere in these worldly desires the Apostle Paul spoke of, and you’re a believer, I suggest falling on your knees and humbly repenting because your very salvation is at risk.

If you’re an atheist, agnostic, pagan, wiccan, practice spirituality such as Meditation, Buddhism or follow any number of the worldly, false religions, just know Jesus was very clear when He stated;

“But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice
witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars-their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
This is the second death.”

Revelation 21:8

Since God is Holy and sin cannot stand before Him it would mean we could not have a relationship with Him. But because of God’s amazing love for us, He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, into this world so we wouldn’t perish but have everlasting life.

So when you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who came in the flesh, was born of a virgin, sacrificed on the cross for the sins of the world and raised on the third day, you will be saved. Of course, from personal experience, there will be lots of tears but a peace and joy this world can NEVER give you!

The Farmer’s Orchard, the Apple of His Eye, and Some Bad Fruit

Once upon a time there lived a farmer. He had many acres of land, which he divided into several fields of crops. He was well versed in soil science, and knew how to prepare each section for the seeds he intended to sow there. It was an incredibly fruitful farm which provided produce for all the surrounding towns.

The farmer’s daughter was the apple of his eye. And she loved horses. When she was very young, he promised to purchase one so she could learn to ride and care for it. But he needed to change something if he was going to build a barn and have pasture space for the horse. Time flew by!

One day, he made his decision. The apple orchard would be the place. He harvested it for the last time, and let it go.

As signs of neglect began to show on the apple trees, the farmer received flak from the community. It was an eyesore to people who lived and traveled nearby. He was accused of no longer caring for the people who had benefited from the nutritious fruit. Some said he had turned his back on his customers.

The trees began to die. Their roots shriveled and winds pushed them over. When the time was right, the farmer cleared the land. People were furious with him.

But his daughter was overjoyed. She saw that he was making good on his promise. When she saw the lumber arrive for the barn and fences, she knew it was almost time for her horse to come. She looked forward to it with increasing anticipation with every new development.

She also heard the growing criticism of her father. She tried to invite people to the farm. She thought, surely, if people could see how hard the farmer worked, and all he had to offer, they’d love him like she did.

She imagined ways to share her joy. She had many ideas of how she and her horse could be a blessing. But people weren’t interested. They couldn’t move past the apples…..

Jesus Says He’s Returning!

I awoke around 7:30ish this morning with a message of Jesus imminent return. Many Christians believe Jesus is coming back, yet, they’re not living a life that is reflective of His coming. They’re still living as if they have years, but, that’s not what I was told in my dream. This dream is one of urgency, especially, to those who are sitting on the fence. Because His appearance and the words He spoke to me left me a bit stunned. This is what I saw and was told.

I was in the living room area of my parents house when Jesus suddenly appeared in front of me. I knew who He was so I greeted Him with a kiss on the cheek and as I did so there was a bit of fear, because I knew His power, His glory, His divinity. He stood there in my parents living room telling me He was coming back in a matter of days and I seemed to feel a sense of urgency. I noticed He was tall, had short darker brown hair, didn’t have a beard and was wearing a long sleeve white shirt and pants. It was at this point that I showed Him to my parents room where He went in and then He looked at me as if He was staring through to my heart and examining every detail. I’ve seen this look before, from a woman I met at a local convenient store a couple of years ago, and every since that encounter, I believed she was an angel, so, I recognized that look. Anyways, Jesus stayed in my parent’s bedroom waiting for me to send people to him. People, that was connected to my house or somehow connected to my family.

As I walked back into the main area of the house I could hear people talking so I was aware others were around, but, they weren’t inside the house, they were all outside. But than a woman walked in and I immediately met her in the kitchen area and began speaking with her. We stood there talking in the kitchen area, the heart of the home, when her husband casually walked up. It was at this point that I leaned into her space, placed my hands on her forearms, looked directly into her eyes and said, You know I have dreams and visions, but I’m telling you Jesus is coming. And I remember I couldn’t tell them the exact time, but, remember saying it’s a matter of days. I guess they understood the urgency and decided to follow Him.

While I didn’t recognize them, this couple seemed to believe in Jesus but I guess they were sitting on the fence and hadn’t made an actual commitment yet. Somehow they were connected to my family and after speaking with them, we prayed and they accepted Jesus as their Lord. It was at this point, I started to lead them to my parents bedroom where Jesus was waiting when the woman suddenly stopped and said, we need to tell Colby (I believe the name given was either Colby or Colton). Immediately, I was given information that Colby was their teenage son, but then the woman said, oh well, we’ll get with him later and continued following me to the room to meet Jesus. I opened the door, the woman went in and Kissed Jesus on the cheek and then I left and went back to the kitchen. It was at this point one of my daughters, Alicia, spoke from another room voicing her concern over the woman’s son Colby. I told my daughter we’re going to get in contact with him so he knows what’s going on. As I spoke to my daughter she was sitting at the window of another bedroom by herself just looking out. I took this as a sign that she was the only one within her family(she is married with a son of her own) that believes in Jesus.

Then the dream ended.

All I can say is their was URGENCY in this dream! I understood when Jesus told me He was coming in a matter of days that everything was about to change. We were being given a very short window to get our house in order before the day of His coming. Plus, he didn’t leave, He made Himself at home in my parent’s house.

While I don’t know exactly what He meant by the word days I felt compelled to share.

And please remember, these dreams are not meant to cause fear, panic are anxiety. They’re meant to edify the Church, God’s true believers. God always provides warnings to His people. So please take comfort, be filled with joy, encourage one another, and live a lifestyle that is reflective of our King.

The Importance of Hebrews 4

My journey through the scriptures has taught me it’s extremely important to read the Bible, to study it and to listen to those who are acknowledgeable without bringing in man’s doctrines or rules. Hebrew 4 speaks of entering God’s rest.

Let’s read the scriptures to see what it says

Hebrews 4:1-3 ~ Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be deemed to have fallen short of it. For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it. Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said:

“So I swore an oath in My anger,
‘They shall never enter My rest.’ ”

And yet His works have been finished since the foundation of the world.

From the very beginning as you read these scriptures, it makes the remark that “entering His rest still stands”. But the only way to enter His rest is by believing in the good news. However, the scriptures provide more information, it states for we also received the good news just as they did but because of their unbelief, their lack of faith, they would not enter God’s rest. So in God’s anger He swore an oath they would NEVER enter His rest.

Who is the Apostle Paul referring to when He says “they” and why did He quote GOD?

For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, 
led by Moses? Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with
those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? And to whom did
He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? 
So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Hebrews 3:16-19

Again, we see the Apostle Paul is referring to the Jewish people of the Old Testament who was led by Moses out of Egypt. From these scriptures GOD became angry with them because they rebelled, they did NOT obey. What did they NOT obey? Let’s read from Jeremiah in the Old Testament, which says;

Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths,
where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘we will not walk in it’.

Jeremiah 6:16

What was the old paths that lead to the good way? It was God’s Law along with His statues and ordinances. And it’s the very reason Isaiah says;

This is what the LORD says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for My salvation
is coming soon, and My righteousness will be revealed. Blessed is the man who
does this, and the son of man who holds it fast, and who keeps the Sabbath without profaning it and keeps His hand from doing any evil.

Isaiah 56:1,2

But Jesus came to fulfill the Law and the prophecies, but, how?

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and savior, we walk in His path and the Holy Spirit is there to help guide, to teach, to lead and to keep us from sinning among many other spiritual jobs. But, we can still sin if we ignore the Holy Spirit and live according to the flesh. But to provide further information, Jesus says this;

Matthew 11:28,29 (NASB) – Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Now let’s re-read from another Biblical version.

Matthew 11:28,29 (AMP) – “Come to Me, all who are heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST (renewal, blessed quiet) FOR YOUR SOULS.

What is the message of this scripture?

Come to Me, Follow Me as My disciple, learn from Me, do as I do and I will give you REST! The REST Jesus speaks of is our SALVATION! But we must EMULATE CHRIST, to pick up our cross and follow Him. And even Jesus says in Revelation,

Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.

Revelation 14:12,13

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, when we believe in Him we’re given the Holy Spirit as a pledge, as a guarantee. And it’s the Holy Spirit which guides, teaches, convicts, prays for us, gives spiritual gifts, comforts, and leads us so we can walk in God’s ways. But faith comes by believing in Christ. Because when we believe, we receive forgiveness of sin, our hearts are purified, we are justified, we are sanctified, we receive God’s peace, our faith grows, we receive salvation, the fruit of the spirit works within us, and we enter God’s rest.

Because we walk by FAITH not by SIGHT

Understanding Colossians 2:14

For those of us who live in the Western world we need to remember, Jesus (Yeshua) is Jewish, so, everything He does will be inline with the Jewish culture. So let’s dive into the issue of Colossians 2:14 that many Christians misunderstand. For one to fully grasp this, I’ll post the scripture from several different Bibles which will make it easier to comprehend. The scripture states;

Colossians 2:14 NASB – Having canceled the certificate of death consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the Cross.

Colossians 2:14 NKJB – Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

Colossians 2:14 AMP – Having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of legal demands [which were in force] against us and which were hostile to us. And this certificate He has set aside and completely removed by nailing it to the cross.

Colossians 2:14 ISR 1998 – Having blotted out the certificate of debt against us – by the dogmas – which stood against us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the stake.

Colossians 2:14 Peshitta (Aramaic) – And He has blotted out by His authority the bill of our debts which was adverse to us and He took it from the midst and nailed it to the cross.

When Western people read this scripture they automatically think it’s referring to God’s Law, the 10 commandments that was nailed to the cross. But ask yourself, does it make sense that God would put HIS LAW within us, write it on our hearts and mind as part of the NEW COVENANT, yet, have HIS people disregard His Commandments? Does that make any sense at all?

Let’s examine and break this scripture down.

God’s Law, the ten commandments, were taught in every synagogue on the Sabbath and we know from scripture that Paul stated multiple times that the Law is Holy. So when Paul states, “having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of legal demands” OR “dogmas” OR “handwriting of requirements” he’s referring to the laws, the decrees that the Pharisees, Scribes along with the Roman rulers, Pharaoh, added on top of God’s law. Making it impossible to follow God’s Commandments. Remember, the Roman rulers were the Beast system during that time.

And, if you continue reading you’ll soon realize just “why” the Apostle Paul stated to the people, why do you submit yourself to decrees, such as, Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch! He was making a point, which was, these are man’s rules, not God’s. Jesus came to remove that penalty for breaking God’s Law NOT to remove the ten commandments. They were NEVER nailed to the cross, only the commandments of men, their decrees, their dogma and legal demands.

For those who are wondering about the statement made, “So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or in regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbat”. At that time the Church was being attacked by Orthodox Judaism stating the Jewish people had to be circumcised, had to celebrate other feast and sabbaths that were NOT given by God not to mention the celebrations the Roman Empire inflicted. So Paul was making it clear to the people that when you accept Yeshua as the Lord and believe in Him He would remove the penalty of death, and give them the Holy Spirit so they would be able to follow God’s Law spiritually. This is also the reason Jesus went off on the Scribes and Pharisees when He spoke the many WOE’s against them. But to the crowds and to His disciples He says;

“The scribes and Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So practice and observe everything they
tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 
They tie up heavy, burdensome loads and lay them on men’s shoulders, but they
themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.

Matthew 23:1-4

While the Ten Commandments are still valid, it is the Holy Spirit which guides, teaches and helps us to walk in them avoiding sin. Of course, Jesus also stated;

Jesus declared, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.

Matthew 22:37-40

But to further clarify my point, lets review the words Jesus said when He made the statement;

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

Matthew 5:17,18

Jesus tells us in simple dialect, the Law and the Prophecies are still valid and will not disappear until heaven and earth pass away. The Law is still valid because they help us determine what sin is and the Holy Spirit helps us to walk in righteousness which helps us avoid breaking them. But, as with everything, God gives us free will so we can choose to ignore the Holy Spirit and break the law, especially, when we choose to follow man!

But don’t take my word for it, STUDY the SCRIPTURES for yourself and KNOW what they say because there are many false Christ and false teachers in the world today.

The New Covenant

As a believer I know Christ is the center of the New Covenant. He paid the highest price by becoming the sacrifice for the penalty of our sin. The scriptures I’m referring to read;

Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it
to the disciples, and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body.’ And He took a cup, and when He
had given thanks He gave it to them, saying, ‘Drink of it, all of you, for this is
My blood of the Covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sin.

Matthew 26:26-28

Christ told us to receive forgiveness of sin we must believe in Him and the blood He shed on the cross. Because it’s through Him that our sins are forgiven so we can have everlasting life, but, only when we believe. The scriptures read;

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

Once we believe what then? Jesus provides more information when He was speaking to Nicodemus, He explained, that to enter the Kingdom of God one must be born of water and the Spirit because the Spirit gives new life. The scripture reads;

Jesus answered, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and
the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. That which is born of the
flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit.

John 3: 5,6

The Holy Spirit renews us, teaches us, guides us, helps us during our prayer time, helps us to praise God, and keeps us focused on the Lord. But, the Holy Spirit has another important task, He helps us to walk in Faith so we can keep God’s Law. Keeping God’s Law is extremely important because God announced long ago, in the days of Jeremiah, in the days of King David, in the days of Isaiah and in the day of Ezekiel, what He would do through the New Covenant, which says;

Behold, days are coming, declares the LORD, “When I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the one covenant which I made with their fathers on the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them”, declares the LORD.

Jeremiah 31:31,32

In these scriptures you can see how the LORD plainly states He is making a new covenant. Originally, it was with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, but, seeing the Lord was rejected by His own He turned to the gentiles. This is why we receive the blessing of the covenant. But read what Ezekiel also stated;

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new Spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you and bring it about that you walk in My statues, and are careful and follow My ordinances.

Ezekiel 36:26,27

Since we know the LORD does NOT change, why would HE state that the people would follow HIS statues and are careful to follow HIS ordinances if they were nailed to the cross? That makes NO sense. But to provide additional information read what the Apostles stated;

Therefore, it is my judgment that we do not cause trouble for those from the Gentiles who are turning to God, but we write to them that they abstain from things contaminated by idols, from acts of sexual immorality, from what has been strangled, and from blood.

Acts 15:19,20

When Christians read these couple of scriptures they seem to believe this is all we are responsible in keeping, but, that is false doctrine. You see, what many miss is the words which are spoken afterwards, which reads;

For the Law of Moses has been read for a very long time in the synagogues
every Sabbath, and his words are preached in every town.

Acts 15:21 (GNT)

As you can see in this scripture the Apostles are stating that new believers can learn the Law that was given by Moses by going to the synagogues on the Sabbath because it is taught in every town. The Law was NOT nailed to the cross, and as I’ve stated over and over, to understand what was being written one needs to understand a little of the Jewish culture.

We were given God’s Spirit to help us walk in His Law, to do righteousness and follow His ways, but, we can choose to go against the Spirit and that my brothers and sisters leads to sin.

Luke 12:8,9
