Jesus and the Second Seal, the Red Horse

Recently I spoke about Jesus and the First Seal, the White Horse, which ushers in the false christs. But now it’s time to turn to our attention to the second seal in the Book of Revelation and compare it to the teachings of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. It’s important for Churches to be teaching these things that are leading up to the tribulations, the end times, along with preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ so people can understand what will take place and what the Lord Jesus Christ said about this difficult time.

The Second Seal – Peace From Earth, War

Revelation 6:3,4 – When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and See.” Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.

The second seal introduces the rider on the red horse. But let’s read Matthew, Mark and Luke to see how it aligns with the Second Seal of Revelation.

Matthew 24:6,7a – And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Mark 13:7,8a – But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Luke 21:9,10 – But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately. Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Notice in Matthew, I use 7a and in Mark 8a. The reason I wrote the scriptures in this way is because the earliest manuscripts in Greek did not contain punctuation, spaces between words, had no Chapter Dividers, no individual headings, but, one long, continuous page of words. Man is the one who added punctuation, spaces, chapters and headings for ease of reading. This could be one of the reasons many people do not associate the teachings of Christ to the Seals found in the Book of Revelation. But as you can see, from the very teachings of the Lord Christ Jesus, His words aligns perfectly with what the Apostle John saw in the Book of Revelation regarding the second seal.

Warships Attack

I’ve had difficulty sleeping this past week due to an issue with my cat, Onyx, and her condition. Which means my sleeping schedule has changed and been interrupted. It puts me in a position where I’m up more at night and end up falling asleep in the wee hours of the morning. I use this time to read the Bible, study and to work on my scripture memorization. Today was no different, but, right before waking I had a warning dream.

In this particular dream I saw things from the vantage point of being on a small vessel instead of seeing it from above. Almost as if I was seeing and experiencing what was happening through someone else’s eyes or my spirit was physically on the boat. And with that said, this is what I saw;

I seemed to be standing on a small boat along with other men and facing in a northward direction, although I’m not certain of this direction just how it appeared to me. It was dark but the area seemed to be completely covered with small vessels. The vessel I was and those I could see reminded me more of fishing boats similar to the Asian countries because they seemed to have a material type canopy rather than modern ships. It also reminded me a bit of Nantucket because of the sailboats commonly found in that area, although, these weren’t sailboats it just reminded me of that area. Not saying this is the actual area just what it reminded me of.

As I peered through the darkness I saw a large battleship with smaller ships flanking each side. They appeared to be positioned in a horizontal line across this body of water from us and then they began firing. In some cases, the ships ran over the smaller vessels causing complete annihilation. I saw men being thrown from the ships, exploding boats and some even jumping to avoid the collision.

From the vessel I was standing on the huge warship and it’s fleet was approximately 75 feet away, so we were pretty close. I remember looking down at the water and I could see blue flames dancing around on top of the water. Then one of the ships fired toward us and as our ship was hit I was thrown from the vessel. I awoke seeing a man floating next to me so I pretended to be dead because of the huge warship that was getting ready to pass by us. Then out of the blue, I was on another boat!

The man driving this boat was trying to cross in front of the warships because there was land to the right of us and he was trying to get to it. But as he manuevered through the water, we kept getting fired upon. I remember looking down the stairs from the deck and could see approximately four men sitting with their back against the wall of the boat with their knees against their chest staring up toward me, they appeared to be of Asian descent. They were scared then as I turned and looked at the man steering the boat I noticed he was young and wasn’t wearing a shirt. I also noticed the back of his left upper shoulder had a very large wound. Although it didn’t appear to be life threatening I’m sure he was badly injured.

But even with his injury he was able to manuever through the maze of ships, battle wreckage, explosions and bodies and hide the boat behind brush against the land. I say against the land because it wasn’t a shore with a beach area, but, more like a swampy area. Then the dream ended.

While I don’t know the nation who controlled the huge warship, I have seen an escalation in my dreams. God is providing more dreams and they seem to include an invasion headed our way. Continue to pray for this situation, pray for a revival, but do NOT FEAR, because our Hope is in our Lord Jesus, the Christ!

Hour of Trial

Believers and non-believers alike try every way possible to avoid this conversation. But it’s a FACT, Christ is returning, and, from the state of this world it may be alot sooner than many have anticipated. We need to have an HONEST conversation with one another and be willing to ask the difficult question, are you ready? Meaning, have you prepared your heart? Are you living a righteous life? Are you repenting of your sin? Are you forgiving others? Are you listening to the Holy Spirit? Because there are several scriptures I want to point out in this post.

First, I want to repeat what Jesus says when He’s providing the signs to the Apostles regarding the End Times. Jesus says;

But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Matthew 24:37,38

What really stands out from this scripture for me is, basically, mankind will continue doing what it’s always done. Focusing on their own wants, needs, and the things of this world without the slightest thought of Christ returning. But as a Christian this needs to be addressed from a BIBLICAL perspective! I know many believe Christ Church will be raptured up, or, caught up before the tribulations, but, that’s not what Jesus taught. Just look at the Book of Revelation it was written to reveal to the CHURCHES what would transpire in the last days, because, God always gives warning to His people before He acts!

Jesus gave the signs in Matthew 24 but there’s something which He says that makes me believe we will know exactly when the tribulation begins. This is what Jesus says;

Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My names’s sake.

Matthew 24:9

Clearly Christ is referring to the nation of Israel and the coming war which ushers in the antichrist. But if you read Matthew 24:4-8 you’ll notice Jesus ended that portion of the conversation with, All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then as Christ once again starts talking He says, they will deliver you up to tribulation. Personally, I believe this is the beginning of the tribulations which also means, Christians will be on this earth during the tribulations. But for comparison, let’s read the scripture when Jesus is speaking to the Churches, there He says;

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Revelation 3:10-13

This particular scripture is loaded with information but for clarification purposes Christ is referring to the Philadelphia Church, which is the Faithful, Persevering Church. First, Christ tells us this is the ONLY CHURCH which will be kept from the hour of trial which comes upon the WHOLE earth. Christ also states that the name of My God, the name of the city of My God, which is the NEW JERUSALEM, which comes down out of heaven from My God along with His NEW NAME will be written on that person. This is the SEAL which will PROTECT them from the Hour of Trial. But, this is the ONLY church that receives protection. Remember, there are 7 Churches in all which means 6 others will go through the hour of trial. The remaining Christians will be among the Lukewarm Church, the Dead Church, the Persecuted Church, the Loveless Church, the Corrupt Church, and the Compromising Church.

So it’s important to know the signs, to understand the information Christ provided and to ask yourself, which Church do I belong to?

Because if it’s not the Faithful, Persevering Church, you may want to start REPENTING!

Like many of us we tend to find a church that makes us feel welcome, comfortable and hospitable. But, that isn’t the qualities we should be looking for when joining a church. Jesus and His Apostles taught believers everything they needed to know about following Him. They taught Christians what they should believe, why they should believe it, the Christian conduct, what to expect during their walk, and the Christian mission. Christians are warned to be careful of following false prophets and false teachings throughout the Bible because these will lead you astray. Let’s look at the Church of Thyatira as an example.

The Thyatira Church was located in Asia Minor, known as, modern day Turkey. It’s one of seven churches the Apostles visited, taught at, and sent letters to. The church had some good works because Jesus says in Revelations;

I know your deeds, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your last deeds are more numerous and greater than the first.

Revelation 2:20

Jesus acknowledged their good works, but, He also tells them that He had an issue “against” this church. Why? Because the Church of Thyatira was led astray by false teachings through a false prophet. Look what Jesus says;

But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess [claiming to be inspired], and she teaches and misleads My bond-servants so that they commit [acts of sexual] immorality and eat food sacrificed to idols.

Revelation 2:20

Jesus makes it clear, “HIS CHURCH” is to be faithful, to follow the teachings of the Apostles and to persevere. Its the “true” acts of His Church and it’s why it’s so important to “follow” what the “Bible” teaches.

Because pastors, priests, evangelists, religious leaders, prophets or anyone in the Christian field is flawed, they’re human. You hear or see it all the time, a religious pastor getting caught in a scam whether it deals with immorality, money or even murder. Now, don’t get me wrong there are some wonderful leaders in the world, but, they are getting to be few and far between.

As Christians, church members bare the burden of their church’s doctrines, we bare the burden of ensuring we’re being taught Biblical teachings, we bare the burden to ensure we’re not following a false prophet or practices. You see, it’s not about how a Christian leader makes you feel good, it’s about putting “Jesus” first in your life and following His word, His teachings.

Just remember, a day is coming when Jesus will repay each of us, a reward or punishment, according to our deeds!

The Red Horse

In Bible Prophecy the the red horse and it’s rider represents the second seal. This particuliar horse and rider brings chaos to the world by taking peace and causing men to slay one another. But this horse also ushers in war. In Revelation John says;

When He (the Lamb) broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature call out, Come. And another, a fiery red horse (of bloodshed), came out; and it’s rider was empowered to take peace from the earth, so that men would slaughter one another; a great sword (of war and violent death) was given to him.

Revelation 6:3,4

We now know the red horse, the second seal, is associated with murders, violent deaths and war. But you can also cross-reference this scripture to what Jesus told his Apostles when they asked about, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Look what Jesus says;

You will continually hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

Matthew 24:6,7,8

As Christians, Christ followers, we are “not” to be alarmed by these occurrences because it must take place before the coming of our Lord. Remember, we are “not” drawn to this world any longer, our focus is on our King! But, we are to know the signs, to pray, to hold “true” to the Gospel of the Kingdom (Good News of the Kingdom) which Christ taught and to help others find their way to Him.

Plundered Semi Vision

Spring of last year, 2021, I kept getting this nagging feeling that a food shortage was coming. So I started warning family and friends to stock up on food, especially, can goods. Fast forward to March of this year while driving to one of our local small town grocery markets I experienced a vision. As I drove I didn’t have a care in the world. It was a beautiful warm day, wasn’t much traffic except for the semi-truck in front of me.

Suddenly, an image past before my eyes and I saw a white semi-truck on the side of the road with all of it’s doors opened. This vehicle was on a major highway close to us and I could tell from the angle of it, that it had been plundered. Again, a warning that came with it and I automatically knew there was going to be a food shortage in the United States.

Fast forward to today, and it’s happening. Many towns and cities are experiencing just that, food shortages. In some cases, states are declaring a state of emergency for supply chain disruptions. I also noticed a compelete void of traffic. Indicating a decrease in semi’s on the road which will worsen the supply chain, make food more scarce and individual transporation was nonexistent. I know this all sounds grim, but, it’s not suprising because the Bible speaks of a global famine. And as the end times grow closer, so will the tribulations.

But, God is good and He always provides warnings so pay attention to what God is saying!

The 7 Churches in Revelation

While studying in the Bible I wanted to know more about the 7 Churches which is mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Since many pastors, theologians and even Christians believe they will be raptured out before the tribulations, or midway through it, I felt a need to really examine it. But first I wanted to know the exact location.

The first map listed is of the 7 churches which are scattered in the Asia Minor area. But if you look at the second map posted, you’ll notice these 7 churches are what is now known as modern day Turkey. I’ve provided a link below the picture where you can book tours of the ancient ruins or do some interesting reading.

What really caught my attention is in the letter to Pergamos, which is also known as Pergamum, and what Christ says. He says;

I know where you dwell, where satan’s throne is; and you hold firmly to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where satan dwells.

Revelation 2:13

So in this scripture Christ is telling us that he knows that satan’s throne is located in Asia Minor, in Pergamos. With this information if we know the 7 churches are located in modern day Turkey, along with satan’s throne, doesn’t it make more sense that the antichrist will come from Turkey?

Second, Christ had some words for the Smyrna church. In fact, he speaks of the sufferings and death some of them would go through. Why does this matter?

Again, many Christians, mainstream Pastors and theologians believe the church will be raptured out before the tribulations. But that makes no sense, because the early churches were persecuted even to death. And sense God is consistent, we know Christians will be persecuted and not raptured out of the tribulations. Christ even says, in Matthew 24 they will be handed over, persecuted and killed which leads directly into the Apostasy or falling away. Paul tells us it’s the last trumpet. In the Book of Revelations, the last trumpet is after the tribulations. Christ will mark his elect before his wrath, but, He nor none of the Apostles ever taught the Church would be raptured before the tribulations. In fact, it was just the opposite!

Third, in all the messages to the churches look what Christ says to the Philadelphia Church, He says;

Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.

Revelation 3:10

Christ is telling us, the whole world is going to be tested! Christians are not going to be pulled out. But, He is going to provide a mark for his elect.

Don’t take my word for it, do your own research and read the scriptures for yourselves. It makes a difference because Christ wants us to be faithful till the end, to not be deceived by false prophets, false teachers and false doctrines. Know the Truth because your soul is at risk!

Magic, Signs and Wonders

Early this morning my husband and I were watching AGT on youtube catching up on some of the past episodes that involved magicians. Some of the episodes were soooooo creepy, scary and strange they made me question if I should even be watching them. It seems the Magician field, Illusionist, Mentalist or any of the other related fields they like to call themselves has really exploded on AGT.

But what’s really disturbing is how dark some of the auditions and contestants have turned! I mean when they walk out onto the stage you often see bizarre face mask made to look like crazed killers, witches or someone who’s possessed. And, the stage props often display computerized fires, pentagrams, creepy dolls, spirit boards, ancient books and one contestant even performed a so-called seance.

Now you’re probably thinking, it’s just tv entertainment and I totally get that. The contestants need an act or gimmick, something to help them standout. But the more I watched these videos I felt uneasy and even started rebuking them. Maybe for some that seems a little extreme, but, Satan and his demons are ALWAYS looking for a way in.

Magic isn’t the only category that is experiencing this issue. It’s also spilled over into the dance section and within that section, you often see the dancers dressed as zombies, insane asylum patients or even vampires. It got me thinking, could there be a correlation between magic and the End Times. Look at Revelation 13 when referring to the false prophet, it says;

He performs great signs, so that he makes fire come down out of the sky to the earth in the presence of people. And he deceives those who live on the earth because of the signs which it was given to him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who live on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life.

Revelation 13:13,14(NASB)

Did you see it? Great signs and fire.

In the past AGT was a pretty family oriented show, but, I can’t say that any longer. When you start promoting this type of dark, twisted tv it just becomes another way for Satan to find his away in. He’ll use it against you by turning you away from God. Don’t be mislead, be careful what you watch, read and study your Bible because The End Times are fast approaching and we haven’t seen nothing yet!

A Crumbling Society

Today our nation is facing grave danger. We’re witnessing the collasping and decay of our society. If you look around you, or watch the nightly news you can’t help but notice a deep seeded hatred growing inside of people. Everywhere you turn there’s an abundance of anger, violence, crime, a lack of morals, abusiveness and hate.

But, what happened to respecting our fellow man? What happened to helping those in need? What happened to people listening to one another? And, what happend to doing what’s right? Look at Paul’s letter to Timothy, he says;

But Mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of good, trecherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; having a form of Godliness but denying it’s power. Have nothing to do with such people.

2 Timothy 3:1,5 (NIV)

If we want to make this world a better place we must first stop pointing the finger at others and point it at ourselves. Because this is a daily occurrence in the news! It’s time we work together to find a better way. Of course, this will require comprise on everyone’s part and it’s really a simple thing. If your head and heart are in the right place you can make positive changes. Unfortunately, what’s going on in our nation today, in fact, our world is exactly the opposite. People have turned away from God and it shows in their actions, the way they speak and how they portray themselves.

But remember, actions have consequences and when a nation turns it’s back on God, God will turn his back on that nation. And, if you think it’s bad now, buckle up cause it’s going to get alot worse! We’re living in the “birth pangs” and you haven’t seen nothing yet!
