Falseness

Tonight I was watching a video review of a YouTuber I follow which centered around a pastor whose Church supports the woke movement and embraces the LGBQT community. God’s Church is called to welcome all sinners regardless of their past transgressions. We’re also called not to judge or condemn them because we too were worldly, sinful, blind and wretched. And while many Christians may not agree with me, Jesus Himself stated in Matthew 9:11,13;

And when the Pharisees saw they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” When Jesus heard, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

The real issue becomes whether the fellow sinner will accept the Gospel and conform to God’s ways. Because for one to truly be transformed they must first hear the Good News so they can be convicted of the Truth. It’s this conviction which leads us to recognize we’re sinners in need of a Savior. When we’re convicted by God’s truth we’ll feel remorse, guilt, and shame over our sins. And it’s this guilt and shame which causes us to humble ourselves, cry out to the Lord Jesus Christ and repent of our sins.

This means God’s Church is called to teach His Truth and not conform to the ways of this world. Unfortunately this particular pastor distorts, twists and injects his own interpretation above scripture. His teaching focused on one of the most famous scriptures in the Bible, John 3:16, which states;

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The pastor stated that God loved the world so much that we were given the world’s DNA so we could become like the world. He also goes on to say the titles such as the Son of Man and the Christ, were not actual titles for the Lord Jesus but are separate from Him. That Jesus was only a man and the Gospel was the opposite of what he taught. He also stated Jesus was not the only way to God according to a Christian mystic, Budda, Gandi, and Muhammad. He continued by saying we basically have the ability within us to be our own gods, and, the word salvation doesn’t mean to save but instead, freedom. Freedom to live a life on our own terms.

But 1 John 2:22,23 provides vital information for the Christian believer because it states;

Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is an antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

From this scripture alone, this pastor’s teaching does not align with God’s Word. And remember what Jesus stated in Matthew 24:11,14

Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

There are many false prophets in the world today all pushing man’s agenda, man’s gospels instead of God’s. But Christians are called to be a light of the world, to let our light shine before men, to testify about God’s goodness, His mercy and love He has for us. To believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, to follow Him and be a  witness to what He has done in our lives while offering Hope to those who are perishing. Please remember, we’re called to present God’s Truth in love, not to be condescending, hateful, angry, pushy are argumentative, instead, gentle, kind, patient and gracious.

And lastly, our Lord Jesus Christ warns of false prophets when He stated in Matthew 7:15,16;

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?

Yes, we will know them by their fruits because Christians know we have only one Good Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ.

False Prophets and Their Fruits

Today I was watching a Christian YouTuber who goes by the name of Glasshouse teaching on the subject of false prophets. The video I watched is entitled, WARNING: NOT Everyone Who Calls Jesus Lord Goes To Heaven! You must click on the link to watch the video.

This is a subject I’ve talked about several times on my sight, but, Glasshouse approached it a bit differently. He explains the complete context of some of the same scriptures I referred to. As Christians I want to encourage each of you to watch his video and share with a friend because it is a eyeopener. The video is only 11 minutes and 33 seconds. So please take a few minutes to watch it.

Remember what Jesus said, You will know them by their fruit!

An Attack is Coming

Early this morning while studying scripture I was given a message. The Scriptures tell us that the Spirit of Truth will lead us to all Truth and tells us of things to come. He doesn’t speak on His own but only the words He hears. After writing down the message, this is what I heard.

From what I was told, people are not living as they should and evidently this includes God’s Church. While this seems a very grim message, we do have HOPE in the Lord Jesus Christ. And this is the rest of the message;

God loved His creation so much that He sent His ONLY Son into the world to save the World through Him. So God’s Son, Jesus the Christ, was sent in the flesh, was born of a virgin and when He became of age He began His ministry and preached the Word of God stating, Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Ultimately, the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried in a tomb, raised on the third day and appeared to His 12 Apostles. The Scriptures read;

The Scriptures tell us that Jesus, the Christ, bore our sins in His body. Though He was completely without sin the only way we could be reconciled to God was through His sacrifice. It’s His blood that was shed for the Covenant which was poured out for the forgiveness of sin, the scripture reads;

But while many do not believe this the Old Testament actually backups everything that Christ endured. The Prophet Isaiah spoke of this very prophecy when He stated;

This is why we have hope! Since Jesus was raised up those who believe in Him and follow Him, they will be raised also. Our great Hope and this is what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you and me!

Following False Teachings

What’s going on in the churches today is similar to what Jesus spoke to the multitudes and His disciples saying, woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! As you continue reading you’ll come across the scripture where Jesus calls them a brood of vipers. And when you think about it that’s pretty much what we’re seeing today.

Pastors, prophets, theologians, evangelist, those who are responsible for providing sound teaching on sin, repentance, forgiveness, righteousness and godly character couldn’t be further away from the Gospel Jesus and His disciples taught. Those who read the Bible for themselves know that preaching a portion of the Gospel of Jesus want save those who truly need to hear the message. So I started wondering and thinking;

Why do majority of pastors, prophets, theologians and evangelist not preach the gospel?

Have they forgotten they’ll be held at a higher degree of accountability than others because of the postion they’ve taken? Yet they continue to lead many astray!

It seems the only scriptures in the Bible these spiritual leaders are concerned with are the ones which refer to prosperity, and giving financially. These pastors, preachers and evangelist have a way of twisting the truth of the scriptures to benefit themselves. They live in the flesh and more concerned with money and the finer things in life than reaching the lost.

What can we learn from these men?

Besides the fact they don’t teach Biblical truth, they don’t preach about the teachings of Jesus, the Apostles, they don’t teach about Jesus birth and how He came in the flesh born of a virgin. They don’t teach of His Crucifixion, how Jesus was sacrificed and took our penalty of sin, which is death. They don’t talk about how He was resurrected on the third Day and how He’s coming back in all His glory and wrath! They speak of none of these things, instead, they stand in front of their congregation leading them astray!

My heart breaks for these people because they don’t have eyes to see, or ears to hear. There’s no discernment, no understanding of truth and their hearts are not prepared.

How do you know a false pastor, prophet, theologian or evangelist? You know them by their fruit.

Ask yourself, are they worldly? Do they live in the flesh? Are they concerned with money? Do they put on a show in the church? Do they speak of sin, repentance or reading the bible? Do they teach the complete Gospel of Jesus Christ? Do they teach the doctrines of men rather than Christ?

God says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)

For instance, many Christians believe in a pre-tribulation rapture because theologians have taught this. But, that’s just not biblical. There will be persecution in the church, it’s happened before and it will happen again. Jesus says in His own words;

Immediately after the tribulations of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give it’s light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the power of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Matthew 24:29-31

Nowhere, did Jesus say He would rapture the church before hand. And since we know God is consistent, the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, you can count on the Church being persecuted. The Book of Revelation and the teachings of the Apostle Paul all line up with what Jesus spoke of. The reason this is so important is if you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture and it doesn’t happen, you want be prepared for what’s coming and you could very easily find yourself denying Jesus.

Read your Bibles, know what the scriptures say because a time is coming…….

And true Christians MUST speak Biblical truth.

Misleading the Masses

Our world is so full of false pastors, false evangelist, false prophets, false teachings, false doctrine that it can become a bit overwhelming when one is striving to learn the “truth” to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe the Gospel is alot more complex than many make it out to be. I believe we try to “simply” the Gospel to a point that anyone can be saved within a matter of minutes. But there is so much more that goes into being a Christian and being born again.

Christ, the Apostle Paul, the Apostle John, along with other Apostles warned of following false Christ, false gospels and false techers. That’s why it’s so important you understand the “TRUTH” of the Gospel, otherwise, there will be those who will distort it. Look what Christ says regarding false Christ and false prophets in Matthew;

Matthew 24:4,5,11 ~ And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and they will mislead many people.

The Apostle Paul spoke numerous times on this subject because it was a constant interference within the Churches which he preached at and witnessed to. Remember, the Apostle Paul was called to the Gentiles and he frequently visited those in Asia Minor, Macedonia, Athens, and even in Rome. The Apostle Paul says in 1 Timothy;

1 Timothy 6:3-6 ~ If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine and teaching which is in agreement with godliness (personal integrity, upright behavior), he is conceited and woefully ignorant (understanding nothing). He has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, which produces envy, quarrels, verbal abuse, evil suspicions, and perpetual friction between men who are corrupted in mind and deprived of the truth, who think that godliness is a source of profit (a lucrative, money making business– withdraw from them).

1 Timothy 4:1,2 ~ But the (Holy) Spirit explicitly and unmistakenly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons, (misled) by the hypocrisy of liars who consciences are seared as with a branding iron (leaving them incapable of ethical functioning),

1 Timothy 1:3,4 ~ Just as I urged you upon my departure for Macedonia, to remain on at Ephesus so that you would instruct certain people not to teach strange doctrines, nor to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which gives rise to useless speculation rather than advance the plan of God, which is by faith, so I urge you now.

But Peter also spoke of false prophets and false teachers because there was always someone trying to discredit Jesus or the gospel that the Apostles taught. Look what Peter says;

2 Peter 2:1-3 ~ But false prophets also appeared among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their indecent behavior, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle; and their destruction is not asleep.

I’ve shown you scriptures from Christ, the Apostle Paul, the Apostle Peter and now let’s look at the Apostle John who says this;

1 John 4:1-3 ~ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and now it is already in the world.

Notice in a couple of these scriptures the word greed or profit is mentioned along with doctrines of demons. I began to understand the importance of these scriptures and how they provide a direct correlation between those who twist the gospel, use false words or introduce destructive heresies. As a Christian my responsibility is to know the truth and seek it in God’s word, the Bible.

Cause remember, each of us will be held accountable for the choices we make, hopefully, many will wake up and reject the false gospels, pastors, evangelist and teachings in our world today, before it’s too late.

Everything Will Perish

Many of our churches and evangelist are using false gospels to lure the people of this world into a “false” hope. These people “believe” they are worshipping God Almighty and excepting Jesus Christ in their hearts, when in reality, these false prophets are indoctrinating them into worshipping the Jezebel Spirit, and even Balaam.

A few of these teachings are the Prosperity Gospel, Spirituality (New Age or Mystical) Gospel, Positive Thinking Gospel, the Little Gods Gospel and Drinking the New Wine Gospel. Let me just say the, Drinking the New Wine Gospel and the Little Gods Gospel these false evangelist are teaching is creepy and outright unbiblical! It’s heresy and blasphemy at the same time. In the, Drinking the New Wine Gospel, people are acting as if they’re drunk, falling on the floor, rolling around delirious, jumping on the podium, laughing uncontrollably, some wearing diapers so they can defecate and void without leaving the service. They claim this is the Holy Spirit moving, but, that does NOT fit within context of the Bible.

Jesus taught to be aware of false prophets and their false teachings. As Christians it’s our duty to show people what “Christianity” is “truly” about. But believe this, punishment is coming!

Take a look at the video below entitled, Everything will Perish – A Wakeup Call to All the World

False Prophets

This is a difficult one, unfortunately, we find many leaders in this category today. There are many Christian leaders who have gotten away from the “true” message of Christ. As Christians it’s our responsibility to filter out those false leaders along with their false doctrines. Look what Jesus said in Matthew;

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

Matthew 7:15

But this scripture really goes hand in hand with another one also found in Matthew. Again, Jesus warned of false christs and false prophets. And anytime there are false prophets there will be a twisting of the scriptures. But look what Jesus said;

For false christs and false prophets will arise and will provide great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

Matthew 24:24

So Christ has warned us several times we need to be careful of false prophets and false christ. Man is fallible so it’s important we turn to the Bible. Look what Paul says;

All scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16,17

So don’t take the word of a pastor, evangelist, prophet or anyone who is in a leadership position just because they say it’s so. Use the Bible for edifying, to ensure what you’re being taught is found in the Bible and pray to God for wisdom and understanding. While there are many good pastors and evangelist leaders forging ahead, there are also those who twist the scriptures to promote their own doctrines. These leaders tend to say the scriptures “imply”, “shadow”, “infer”, or mirror” just so they can twist the scriptures to their “own” belief system. This is very dangerous!

One of the biggest false doctrines found in the Churches today is when Christian leaders associate themselves with a “certain denomination” and doctrine. That is NOT what the Bible teaches! Christians are followers of Christ and we are to learn, follow and teach the words of Christ. As far as denominations within the Churches, the Bible doesn’t teach it so it’s a “false” doctrine.

These are the things that Christians must be aware of so they can make sound decisions. And it’s why it’s so important to read and study your Bible for yourselves.

Cause remember, if the Bible doesn’t teach it, it’s just not true!
