The LORD GOD יהוה YHVH of Israel is the Lord Jesus Christ

I was watching one of my favorite Pastors yesterday, or the day before, and He spoke about some Scriptures which really caught my attention and really made me stop and think. Because, many Jewish people believe in God but they don’t believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, or in their tongue, Yeshua Mashiach.

But there is a way for Jewish people, whether they live in Israel, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey or any foreign country, to fully understand who the Lord Jesus Christ truly is. Christians and Jewish people are called to worship the one true God and it’s time we come together and understand who He truly is.

The Scriptures I’m referring to is found in Zechariah 12:1-9 and I will highlight what is significant.

1 – The burden of the Word of LORD (יהוה‎ or YHVH) against Israel. This says the LORD (יהוה‎ or YHVH), who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the Spirit of man within him:

2 – Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding people’s, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.

3 – And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.

4 – In that day, says the LORD (יהוה‎ or YHVH), I will strike every horse with confusion, and it’s rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

5 – And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the Lord of hosts, their God.’

6 – In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile…

7 – The LORD (יהוה‎ or YHVH) will save the tents of Judah first…

8 – In that day the LORD (יהוה‎ or YHVH) will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem…

9 – It shall be in that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

From the beginning in Verse 1 Zechariah tells us exactly who is speaking, which in English is the LORD, GOD, and in Hebrew would be יהוה‎ or YHVH.

  • Verse 2 states, I will make Jerusalem a cup.
  • Verse 3 states, I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone.
  • Verse 4 states, In that day, says the LORD, I will strike and I will open My eyes on the house of Judah
  • Verse 5 states, the LORD, יהוה or YHVH of Hosts, their GOD
  • Verse 6 states, In that day I will make the governors.
  • Verse 7 states, the LORD, יהוה or YHVH will save the tents.
  • Verse 8 states, In that day the LORD, יהוה or YHVH will defend.
  • Verse 9 states, I will seek to destroy all the nations.

Do you see who is speaking?

The LORD, GOD, in English and יהוה or YHVH in the Hebrew language. But if that’s true how can a Jewish person explain what GOD, יהוה or YHVH says next?

And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of Grace and supplication; then they will look on ME whom they pierced.

If you’re Jewish you should ask yourself, when was God or יהוה‎ YHVH ever pierced?

And if you’re a non-believer you should ask yourself how could the Bible predict this long before it happened?

The GOD of the Old Testament, of the Torah is the same who came in the flesh, born of a virgin, taught the people to repent and turn away from their sins, to believe in the Son of God by FAITH, was sacrificed and became the atonement for sins and ushered in the New Covenant which was spoken of by Ezekiel and Jeremiah. Then the Lord Jesus Christ, Yeshua Mashiach, rose on the 3rd day.

I urge all Jewish people to read the scriptures for themselves. Jewish leaders just as Christian leaders will lead you astray, don’t put your trust in man but in the Lord Jesus Christ, Yeshua Mashiach. Notice what Zechariah says in 14:9, which states;

And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be – “The LORD is one, and His name one.

Don’t put your salvation in the hands of others, seek the Lord Jesus Christ or Yeshua Mashiach while He can still be found!

Anointed Song Manifest Demons

I was blown away by this when I saw it and encourage all Christian to watch. I was in tears as I listened because I could feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Nico is a worship leader at a Christian Church in Thessalonica Greece. And in 2022 he was given a powerful dream where He saw the Son of God, Jesus Christ, along with the Archangel that is over all the Armies in Heaven. The Archangel raised His head and begin to sing along with other Angels and sounds begin to join in. This song has such a serious anointing on it! You can watch the video and see how demons begin to manifest in those who are listening to it. Nico’s is singing it in the original tongue but I also have it in English and will share it on to my music section. This is what WORSHIP music really sounds like! Praise the Almighty God!

Miracles Happen

Miracles happen! They happen all the time. I consider myself one, in many ways. The trouble is that the word is tossed about carelessly and used in error. You get varying numbers of how many time it is used in the Bible, depending on the version or the interpretation. Jesus is mentioned as doing thirty five but we know He did many more, so many the books could not hold them.

I have seen those whose lives were spared quite miraculously remain in unbelief that God had stepped in, one even told me that doctors made mistakes. Yes, they are fallible but this boy woke up just before they were preparing him to be an organ donor. Just like not everyone will be saved, not everyone will believe and even if they do they often attribute it to something else, a higher power or technological advancement, not the sacrifice or resurrection power of Christ.

A miracle, by definition,  is an event that is inexplicable in the natural or by scientific and physical laws. It is described as God intervening for mankind, though a lot of beliefs include them and ascribe them to different gods. I like this one from the Topical Bible.  Miracles are seals of a divine mission. That really sums up the ministry of Jesus.

Jesus replied, “I did one miracle on the Sabbath, and you were amazed. ” John 7:21

Now, of course, if you are familiar with Jewish teaching, He should not have worked on the Sabbath, but in the previous chapter, He had multiplied loaves and fishes. They had accused Him of having a demon and He answered that they were trying to kill Him, for He knew their thoughts and the intent of their hearts.  He always knows and we don’t always walk in that discernment. Sometimes, He had to walk away. Jesus told them about the bread of life and many walked away at the teaching of Communion, because they did not understand, the body and blood, and He had not been crucified of risen.

They were still following pagan laws and even the law of Moses, yet, they circumcised on the Sabbath and rescued livestock if the need arose. They were very critical of Him, and He chose not to go on to the feast of Tabernacles. He often said His time had not come. And it was the response to the first miracle at Cana, He changed water to wine for Mary but it was the same answer. He was so condemned for healing on the Sabbath…

Why We Pray For All People

The Lord Jesus Christ is doing wonderful things in this world and is a moving in the Muslim community. And the testimony below is one of a Muslim man of Iranian descent that had a powerful encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ.

It’s also why it’s so important to Pray for all People to turn their hearts to the Lord Jesus whether they live in Iran, Israel, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Yemen, Turkey, Russia are anywhere in the world. Even those who persecute us we’re called to pray for them. Christ told us to pray for our enemies and while this is maybe difficult for some, if you truly love the Lord Jesus you’ll follow His command.

It’s also why In 1 Peter 3:9 we’re told;

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you we’re called so that you may inherit a blessing.

Iran Attacks Israel News

Breaking news that will affect every Christian is the attack on Israel by Iran today. Which means Christians will go through tough days ahead if this attack continues and turns into a full pledge war. If it does escalate chances are many countries will be involved. As Christians we must ensure we are adhering to the Lord Jesus Christ teachings during these Biblical times. This means we pray for Israel, but, we also pray for all of God’s people in the Middle East.

We must pray and ask God for His protection over His peopleHis remnant, His Church and His Chosen Ones. This includes all who believe and follow Yeshua the Messiah/Jesus the Christ regardless of their nationality or the country they reside in. Yes, we pray and ask God to bless Israel, but, we must also remember to stay in alignment with the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Especially those teachings where the Lord spoke of persecution and our enemies. The Scriptures read;

Christians tend to forget, that yes while we love Israel, we must be very careful how we approach this subject. Scripture teaches;

Pray for All people to REPENT and turn their hearts to the Son of God, Jesus Christ (Yeshua Messiah), who was sacrificed for our sins and reconciled us to God through His blood. I’m also reminded of the scripture which reads;

This is why all Christians must be very careful what they say and how they say it. While we love Israel and pray for the Jewish people, we’re called to LOVE all God’s People.

May God’s Grace bless you daily,
bring you closer to the Lord Jesus Christ
and Sanctify you in God’s Truth!

Blessed are Those who Mourn

I often hear preachers say, at the end of their sermon, if you repent of your sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ you will be saved. While this is absolutely true, personally, the step of repenting of our sins should be one of that is much more detailed. We should lament over what we have done against God. In other words, we don’t recite a simple little prayer and state, I repent of my sins and then expect to be changed.

Because when you look at the Scriptures, when one repented of their sins there was lamentation over them. Meaning, there was grief there was sorrow over what they had done. It wasn’t a moment reciting a few words and expecting God to forgive us. NO! When the people from the Scriptures repented they had a very passionate cry to God over what they had done. It was sorrow cut straight from the heart and feeling guilt, regret and remorse over their sins and how they were lead astray.

Maybe this is why some Christians still struggle with sin. After all many preachers lead us to believe by reciting this generic prayer and lumping all our sins together, we’ll be forgiven of them and we’re no longer obligated to repent. Sure, we’ve all probably said a prayer but was it really heart felt? Did we “really” feel bad over our sins, cry and weep for a few moments, till the service ended and then went back to our normal day in life?

So this brings up many questions for me and leads me to believe that while this prayer maybe a first step, we shouldn’t stop repenting over our sins until we’re given a sign, a word by God or even a dream. And it also brings up the question, if one doesn’t display the same type of lamenting over their sin as in the Scriptures, have they truly been forgiven? Maybe God is calling His people to REPENT the same way they did in Biblical times. Which leads me to the Scripture;

As a Christian, if you’re still struggling with sin, maybe you need to humble yourself before God Almighty and start naming each of your sins before Him and display the same type of lamenting that the people of God did throughout the Scriptures.

May God’s Grace bless you daily,
bring you closer to the Lord Jesus Christ
and Sanctify you in God’s Truth!

He is Risen

Can you imagine the anguish and pain the Apostles felt along with the disciples after the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ? Now imagine their joy and happiness when they realized He had risen.

Matthew 28:6 – He is not here; for He has risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

He has Risen! Glory hallelujah our King is Risen!

An Attack is Coming

Early this morning while studying scripture I was given a message. The Scriptures tell us that the Spirit of Truth will lead us to all Truth and tells us of things to come. He doesn’t speak on His own but only the words He hears. After writing down the message, this is what I heard.

From what I was told, people are not living as they should and evidently this includes God’s Church. While this seems a very grim message, we do have HOPE in the Lord Jesus Christ. And this is the rest of the message;

God loved His creation so much that He sent His ONLY Son into the world to save the World through Him. So God’s Son, Jesus the Christ, was sent in the flesh, was born of a virgin and when He became of age He began His ministry and preached the Word of God stating, Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Ultimately, the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried in a tomb, raised on the third day and appeared to His 12 Apostles. The Scriptures read;

The Scriptures tell us that Jesus, the Christ, bore our sins in His body. Though He was completely without sin the only way we could be reconciled to God was through His sacrifice. It’s His blood that was shed for the Covenant which was poured out for the forgiveness of sin, the scripture reads;

But while many do not believe this the Old Testament actually backups everything that Christ endured. The Prophet Isaiah spoke of this very prophecy when He stated;

This is why we have hope! Since Jesus was raised up those who believe in Him and follow Him, they will be raised also. Our great Hope and this is what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you and me!

Earthquake Coming

Lying in bed early this morning I heard words which spoke of a natural disaster coming to a particular country. The words spoken were very clear and purposeful for this country and  while I wasn’t given a specific reason as to why this event would take place, I was given particular Scriptures to help with further understanding.

The words spoken was a warning that a 9. magnitude earthquake would soon hit Venezuela. While debating if I should post this on the blog, I was reminded of the scripture;

What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the housetops.

Matthew 10:27

This scripture refers to the Lord Jesus speaking to His disciples when He sent them out on their mission. He also encouraged His disciples by telling them not to be afraid because things that are hidden will be revealed. The Scripture reads;

So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.

Matthew 10:26

I believe there is a deeper meaning that will unfold in this situation. Since I clearly heard the words being spoken to me, I believe there will be a revealing in Venezuela. Because the next scriptures Jesus spoke states;

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 10:28

Jesus was warning His disciples, His followers, not to fear these people regardless of the actions they take against them. But instead to fear Him who can destroy the soul and body in the lake of fire.

Unfortunately, many people are doing the exact opposite of what Jesus taught and are fearing what is transpiring all around them. While it is human nature to have fear, Jesus taught, those who follow Him must overcome fear. We don’t need man’s weapons, but only the weapons God provides.

We do this by clothing ourselves with the Lord Jesus, by putting on the Armor of God and by standing firm in Faith. We are being urged to be obedient to the Lord Christ Jesus, to follow Him and not to deny. The scripture reads;

Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father in Heaven. But whoever denies Me before Men, I will also deny him before My Father in Heaven.

Matthew 10:32

As a believer of Christ, one who seeks to do His will, I will be obedient to Him, to His teachings and to the Father. I will continue to confess the Lord Jesus Christ even in difficult times regardless of the consequences. When we fail to do what He tells us, we’re being disobedient. When we know what the right thing to do is but refuse to stand up for it, it becomes sin. For me it’s not man I fear, but Him who will destroy both soul and body in the lake of fire, as the scriptures reads;

And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:15

While my purpose for writing this is not to scare people but to prepare them and to be obedient. Regardless of what diaster one faces, there is ALWAYS HOPE in the Lord Jesus Christ. And if you don’t know Him start here.

Who Will You Choose?

For those of us who live in the United States we’ve never really experienced Christian persecution as a result of our Faith. Television, radio, and social media platforms are targeting those who believe in Jesus Christ and the message of Truth which He taught. But many Christians are failing to recognize the direction we’re headed and the decision each will have to make. While many Christians are more concerned with worldly issues instead of eternity, the scriptures teach us differently;

But laws are being enacted which could make speaking God’s TRUTH a hate crime. And if you look at the chaos and lawlessness taking place within America today you know the world is about to change. For those who earnestly seek to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and worship God, there’s no doubt, we will be hated.

But as a Christian, I’m not called to judge non-believers or even other Christians, but, I am called to speak God’s Truth in a loving manner to all people. And the Truth is;

But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved! But without repentance and deep sorrow over our sins toward God, it’s all in vain.

We must sincerely feel convicted over everything we’ve done which goes against God. All the lies, stealing, sexual immorality, filthy language, putting others before Him and living worldly. Once we confess all our sins to God we must believe in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Who left His heavenly home and took on flesh. He was born of a virgin, preached the Good News of the Kingdom, and was sacrificed on the cross for our sins, rose on the third day and appeared to His Apostles and over 500 brothers at once. Then, we must be baptized to receive the Holy Spirit.

This is the only way!
