For the past week the news media is continually reporting on all the protest taking place throughout the world regarding the Israel Palestine conflict. I’ve stated over and over, the Bible teaches Christians should not be participating in these protest, instead, we should be proactive by helping those who are in need. Because those participating in these protest are only there to stir up chaos. If there heart was “truly” in the right place, if they were “truly” about “helping” the Palestinian people, then these protest would be handled much differently.
While I grieve the loss of life on both sides, I continue to pray for the families that are impacted from the loss of their loved ones. However, these protest only add fuel to the fire, because majority of those attending these protests are filled with rage, hate, anger, and violence. Each side is hurling insults, chants, signs that are clearly intended to impose their view on others.
So as I watched the faces of those in the protest, listen to the words spewing from their mouths I realized all they want is disruption. While some of the people protesting truly believe the Palestinians are being oppressed, and I agree they are, one must also realize the Palestinians elected Hamas to those positions.
Remember, a protest doesn’t prove LOVE, it only proves intent for one side. Which means, neither side is interested in what the other, thinks, feels or has witnessed because they’re only interested in what matters to them and getting their way. If they had love they would be sympathetic to one another, willing to work together to create a better world. Remember how the Apostle Paul describes love, he wrote;
Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant. It does
not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep
account of a wrong suffered, it does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the
truth; it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Don’t be misled, Jesus taught people to love one another and instructed His followers to walk in love instead of hate. Christians who read the scriptures also understand Bible Prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes. Knowing time is short it’s best to ensure we’re following the teachings of Christ Jesus and not following the ways of this world.
