Falseness

Tonight I was watching a video review of a YouTuber I follow which centered around a pastor whose Church supports the woke movement and embraces the LGBQT community. God’s Church is called to welcome all sinners regardless of their past transgressions. We’re also called not to judge or condemn them because we too were worldly, sinful, blind and wretched. And while many Christians may not agree with me, Jesus Himself stated in Matthew 9:11,13;

And when the Pharisees saw they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” When Jesus heard, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

The real issue becomes whether the fellow sinner will accept the Gospel and conform to God’s ways. Because for one to truly be transformed they must first hear the Good News so they can be convicted of the Truth. It’s this conviction which leads us to recognize we’re sinners in need of a Savior. When we’re convicted by God’s truth we’ll feel remorse, guilt, and shame over our sins. And it’s this guilt and shame which causes us to humble ourselves, cry out to the Lord Jesus Christ and repent of our sins.

This means God’s Church is called to teach His Truth and not conform to the ways of this world. Unfortunately this particular pastor distorts, twists and injects his own interpretation above scripture. His teaching focused on one of the most famous scriptures in the Bible, John 3:16, which states;

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The pastor stated that God loved the world so much that we were given the world’s DNA so we could become like the world. He also goes on to say the titles such as the Son of Man and the Christ, were not actual titles for the Lord Jesus but are separate from Him. That Jesus was only a man and the Gospel was the opposite of what he taught. He also stated Jesus was not the only way to God according to a Christian mystic, Budda, Gandi, and Muhammad. He continued by saying we basically have the ability within us to be our own gods, and, the word salvation doesn’t mean to save but instead, freedom. Freedom to live a life on our own terms.

But 1 John 2:22,23 provides vital information for the Christian believer because it states;

Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is an antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

From this scripture alone, this pastor’s teaching does not align with God’s Word. And remember what Jesus stated in Matthew 24:11,14

Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

There are many false prophets in the world today all pushing man’s agenda, man’s gospels instead of God’s. But Christians are called to be a light of the world, to let our light shine before men, to testify about God’s goodness, His mercy and love He has for us. To believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, to follow Him and be a  witness to what He has done in our lives while offering Hope to those who are perishing. Please remember, we’re called to present God’s Truth in love, not to be condescending, hateful, angry, pushy are argumentative, instead, gentle, kind, patient and gracious.

And lastly, our Lord Jesus Christ warns of false prophets when He stated in Matthew 7:15,16;

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?

Yes, we will know them by their fruits because Christians know we have only one Good Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ.

When God Plucks Up, Tears Down and Destroys

All across our society in America we see the hand of God moving. Because the politicians, the elitist, The WEF, the UN, the Club of Rome, Politicians, and Scientist tend to believe they know what’s best. In fact, they want to be God. They conspire together to put laws into place which all go against our Lord Jesus Christ and God the Father, against Christians and against God’s Word. But God will not be mocked! And just as God warned Israel and brought disaster upon them, God will also use our enemies to bring disaster upon us. The scriptures read;

Jeremiah 18:7,12 – The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy, if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it. And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant, if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it. Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD: “Behold, I Am fashioning a disaster and devising a plan against you. Return now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.

There are many Churches in America who have taken on the ways of this world believing they are showing love. But this is a false love, because the true Church will always welcome sinners, but, they do not change the Churches doctrines to accommodate those sinners. No, God’s true Church will always speak of sin, how every person on this planet is a sinner and we must repent and live righteously before the living God. It’s the sinner that must change not the Churches to accommodate the sinner.

As Christians we are called to boldly proclaim the Good News, the Gospel, to those who are perishing. We do this in a loving fashion, non-judgmental, non-condemning, but in a way that all have the opportunity to get to know God. And yes, it will probably be deemed as hate speech, but, true hate is letting someone perish who has never heard the Good News.

Stand boldly, fight the good fight!

Peace Instead of Choas

Our world seems to be spinning further out of control. While many have lost hope, my hope, is in the Lord Christ Jesus, the Son of God, who came to save the world. Which means as a believer I must speak God’s truth. Which is the same Truth Jesus (Yeshua/Yehoshua), the Christ (Messiah), of Nazareth taught. Since I believe in Him all of my belief, my trust, my faith and my hope is in Christ Jesus, along with everything He taught. One of those teachings Jesus taught is the need to love our enemies and do good to them. But it doesn’t stop there, because the Apostle Peter also taught something similar, the scriptures read;

From Jesus teachings to the teachings of the Apostles, it’s pretty clear, violence, riots, insurrections, and protests was never intended for a believer. Unfortunately, many Christian believers are abandoning these teachings and purchasing guns and stocking up on ammunition. Jesus never condoned violence and He taught His Apostles the same. So, why is it many Christians are more concerned with their families, property, and earthly treasures instead of following the Lord Jesus teachings? Remember what Jesus said;

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, we should be encouraging one another, building each other up and standing firm in the Faith. We cannot fear but must proclaim the Truth Jesus taught. It’s better to die in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, then it is to shoot someone all in the name of protecting your earthly treasures.

Glory be to God and if you’re not a believer, Get to Know the Lord Jesus Christ in the Post, What is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Following False Teachings

What’s going on in the churches today is similar to what Jesus spoke to the multitudes and His disciples saying, woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! As you continue reading you’ll come across the scripture where Jesus calls them a brood of vipers. And when you think about it that’s pretty much what we’re seeing today.

Pastors, prophets, theologians, evangelist, those who are responsible for providing sound teaching on sin, repentance, forgiveness, righteousness and godly character couldn’t be further away from the Gospel Jesus and His disciples taught. Those who read the Bible for themselves know that preaching a portion of the Gospel of Jesus want save those who truly need to hear the message. So I started wondering and thinking;

Why do majority of pastors, prophets, theologians and evangelist not preach the gospel?

Have they forgotten they’ll be held at a higher degree of accountability than others because of the postion they’ve taken? Yet they continue to lead many astray!

It seems the only scriptures in the Bible these spiritual leaders are concerned with are the ones which refer to prosperity, and giving financially. These pastors, preachers and evangelist have a way of twisting the truth of the scriptures to benefit themselves. They live in the flesh and more concerned with money and the finer things in life than reaching the lost.

What can we learn from these men?

Besides the fact they don’t teach Biblical truth, they don’t preach about the teachings of Jesus, the Apostles, they don’t teach about Jesus birth and how He came in the flesh born of a virgin. They don’t teach of His Crucifixion, how Jesus was sacrificed and took our penalty of sin, which is death. They don’t talk about how He was resurrected on the third Day and how He’s coming back in all His glory and wrath! They speak of none of these things, instead, they stand in front of their congregation leading them astray!

My heart breaks for these people because they don’t have eyes to see, or ears to hear. There’s no discernment, no understanding of truth and their hearts are not prepared.

How do you know a false pastor, prophet, theologian or evangelist? You know them by their fruit.

Ask yourself, are they worldly? Do they live in the flesh? Are they concerned with money? Do they put on a show in the church? Do they speak of sin, repentance or reading the bible? Do they teach the complete Gospel of Jesus Christ? Do they teach the doctrines of men rather than Christ?

God says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)

For instance, many Christians believe in a pre-tribulation rapture because theologians have taught this. But, that’s just not biblical. There will be persecution in the church, it’s happened before and it will happen again. Jesus says in His own words;

Immediately after the tribulations of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give it’s light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the power of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Matthew 24:29-31

Nowhere, did Jesus say He would rapture the church before hand. And since we know God is consistent, the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, you can count on the Church being persecuted. The Book of Revelation and the teachings of the Apostle Paul all line up with what Jesus spoke of. The reason this is so important is if you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture and it doesn’t happen, you want be prepared for what’s coming and you could very easily find yourself denying Jesus.

Read your Bibles, know what the scriptures say because a time is coming…….

And true Christians MUST speak Biblical truth.

What is Sin?

Simply put, sin is anything that causes disobedience and rebellion against God. It’s any wrongdoing, violation, transgression, wickedness, evil, misbehavior, error, mistake, dishonesty, immoral act, immoral word, immoral thought or deed that goes against God.

How did sin enter the world?

Sin goes all the way back to the very beginning when God created Adam and Eve. After God created Adam He placed Adam in the garden of Eden, gave specific instructions that he could eat of anything within the garden freely, except, from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Unfortunately, Adam’s wife, Eve, was tempted by the serpent and chose to listen to him and brought the fruit to Adam for him to eat. At this point Adam had a choice to make, to obey God or to disobey God and eat of the fruit. Adam chose to disobey.

It’s from this very act of disobedience that caused sin to come into the world. The consequences of that action changed Adam’s very relationship with God. It created a separation between God and Adam, Adam became a sinner and he now knew the difference between good and evil. It also caused an immediate penalty of spiritual death.

Since Adam was the first creation he kickedstarted the human race, which means, he became the source of mankind’s sin. He brought sin into the world and the penalty for sin is death.

Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the World, and death through sin, and so death spread to all mankind, because all sinned

Romans 5:12

So what is sin?

Sin is anything that is disobedient or goes against God!

Is The Word Christian Biblical?

Is the word Christian even biblical and if it is, where is it located in the bible? The earliest usage of the word is found in Acts and it says;

And he left for Tarsus to look for Saul; and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And for an entire year they met with the church and taught considerable numbers of people; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

Acts 11:26

We see from this scripture that the people in Antioch called the disciples Christians. But are there any other scriptures which mentions Christians? Actually there is, look what Peter says;

But if anyone suffers as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name.

1 Peter 4:16

The people of Antioch called those who followed Christ, Christians. They did so because of the disciples belief, faith, acts and behavior was Christ like. So, is the word Christian biblical and a true representation of Christ followers? Absolutely!
