I’ve stated in some of my poetry I can clearly see how people are changing. People are exhibiting more hate, anger, anti-Semitism and a lack of love. And this isn’t just in agnostic people. No, I’m seeing this in “Christians”. Which makes me believe the “Falling Away” is based on two factors.
Obviously, the first factor is how peoples attitudes are changing toward one another. The Apostle Paul spoke of this numerous times throughout his writings on how Christians should live their lives and how they are to be a light in the darkness. But he also warned that people in the last days would be all about themselves, unthankful, disobedient, proud, boasters, liars, traitors and the list goes on. You can read exactly what he says in 2 Timothy 3:1,9.
My second factor is based on the teachings of “Christ” on the Mount of Olives when the Apostles came to him privately asking about the signs and the end of the world. Jesus says;
Then they will hand you over to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name. And at that time many will fall away, and will betray one another and hate one another. And because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will become cold.
Matthew 24:9,11(NASB)
Notice in the Matthew 24:9,11 scriptures where Jesus placed the falling away. He placed it AFTER the people of Israel are handed over and killed.
This indicates that many “Christians” will become disillusioned because of what will happen to Israel and the constant declining state of our world.
Which leads directly to the “false teachings” within the church. Many Christians are believing lies that the “Christian Churches” are pushing. What’s unfortunate, is the members don’t seem to care, or realize, just how dangerous these false teachings are. For instance, some churches are pushing the narrative that you don’t have to repent of your sins you just need to think positive. That’s out right heresy! Others are pushing it’s all about the worship music, again heresy. Still others are suggesting that your “good works” or being a “good person” will get you to Heaven. Plain and simple, heresy! Then we come to the pre-tribulation or mid-tribulation rapture theory. This is one of the BIGGEST false teachings ever! Why? Because Jesus NEVER taught it, Paul NEVER taught it and neither did any of the APOSTLES. Out right, heresy! If Jesus didn’t teach it, the Apostles didn’t teach it, the Prophets from the Old Testament didn’t teach it, then it’s an out right lie! Yes, there will be a gathering up, but it does NOT happen until the 7th trumpet which was taught by Paul. But even Jesus stated it wouldn’t happen until the sign of the Son of Man appears in Heaven which is after the 7th trumpet.
Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in Heaven, then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send his Angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of Heaven to the other.
Matthew 24:30,31(NASB)
Jesus even teaches this through his parable about sorting the good seed from the tares which would NOT happen until the time of the harvest. This can be read in Matthew 13:25,30.
So, when is this Harvest?
We’re told “EXACTLY” when the harvest will take place. In Revelation after the 7th Trumpet the kingdoms of earth become the Kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ. But notice what else is said, the nations were angry and your wrath came.
Then the 7th Angel sounded; and there was loud voices in, Heaven, saying; the Kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ; and He will reign forever and ever. (18) And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath came, and the time came for the dead to be judged, and the time to reward your bond-servants the Prophets, and the saints and those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.
Revelation 11:15 & 18(NASB)
So at this point the 7th Trumpet has sounded. But look what else happens further in Revelations, it’s the Reaping of the Harvest! The same very Harvest which is spoken of in Matthew through the parable Jesus taught.
Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was like a son of man, with a golden crown on His head, and a sharp sickle in His hand. And another angel came out of the temple, calling out with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, put in your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth is ripe. Then he who sat on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped.
Revelation 14:14,16(NASB)
Did you catch that? The Book of Revelation which was written by the Apostle John through a vision given by God on the Revelation of Jesus Christ, backs up EXACTLY what Jesus taught and the teachings of the Apostle Paul.
But, what does this have to do with the falling away?
If you believe in a false teaching and that teaching doesn’t occur at the expected time your church taught, it causes you to start doubting God. This is why understanding about the Rapture is so crucial! If the Rapture doesn’t happen within the designated time of the church teaching, chances are you’ll fall away from God, from Christ and your love will grow cold. Exactly what Jesus warned us of.
Both of these factors are already at work today in our churches, communities and our everyday lives. Time is getting closer. Know the truth, read your Bible, study it, worship our Lord, spend time in prayer because you and you alone are responsible for your choices. Besides, in John 8:32, it says the Truth will set you free and knowing the truth is crucial because your soul depends on it!
