Ache in my Spirit

I came across several scriptures last night that left such an impression on me that I have an ache in my spirit for those who haven’t accepted Christ(the Messiah) in their lives. I feel for them, because they seem completely oblivious to what’s coming. They live each day for themselves, never thanking, honoring, are giving God praise for His creation. Please understand, I’m not judging them because we all have sin, in fact, the Apostle Paul said it best when he said this;

And you were dead in your offenses and sins, in which you previously walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all previously lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the rest.

Ephesians 2:1-3

So I can’t judge them, but, as a child of God, as a follower of Christ, I can have love for them and have an ache in my spirit for those who are lost, for the backsliders, for those who turn away from Christ or for those who reject Him.

Because just like them I once was lost, but, now I see!

Pray for the lost so their eyes may be opened and they can be reconciled to Christ and praise God in all His Glory!

    It’s especially disheartening when we know people close to us that are headed for a different destination than we are. With just no idea of just how bad that will be. It’s like a house that’s on fire, and they just don’t have the motivation to get out.
