For the past 6 months I’ve been hit with spiritual warfare worse than I’ve ever experienced in the past. I believe this is due to my intense study of the Bible and drawing closer to Jesus. And whether Christians realize it or not, demons can influence your everyday life. What many don’t understand is spiritual entities that are not from God or His Kingdom are nothing more than demons. If someone visits you in a dream that’s a past relative, a friend who past away or even someone you lost contact with from your childhood, you should be very careful interacting with this entity. Cause chances are, it’s a demon. This is exactly what happened to me yesterday morning.
You can believe in God and in Jesus, but, if you’re not following and walking in the footsteps of our Lord Christ Jesus, then, you’re susceptible to these entities because you don’t know how to fight them off. And this is exactly how the enemy works against you. If you’re not spending time reading God’s Word, you’re at risk, if you’re not praying daily multiple times a day, you’re at risk, if you’re not worshipping God, you’re at risk, if you’re not memorizing scripture, you’re at risk. If you’re not picking up your cross to follow Jesus, in the role of a disciple, you’re at risk.
Did you know Jesus called all His followers disciples? And what do disciples do?
Disciples are those who follow Christ, His teachings and spreads the Good News to unbelievers. Exactly what the Apostles did, preached the Good News, taught non-believers to repent of their sins, introduced them to the Messiah, the Son of God, the sacrifice Jesus made through the blood atonement, His resurrection, and taught them how to live a righteous life before God. Once those new disciples were learned in Christ ways, they would go out and teach others. And this is what the Church was commissioned to do. Discipleship never ends, it’s a constant ongoing job.
So, if you’re not doing these things, you must ask yourself, am I really following Jesus? Because these are the requirements Jesus Himself puts forth. And yes, this applies to women also although their role maybe slightly different depending on how Jesus chooses to use them. The reason I know women are also called to be disciples is this scripture, which reads;
In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (in Greek her name is Dorcas);
she was always doing good and helping the poor.
Acts 9:36
As a disciple of Christ, you’re taught how to deal with these entities, how to cast them out, and stand Boldly against them. This is why this topic is so important because a dream isn’t always just a dream, a vision isn’t always just a vision, and a spoken word isn’t always just a spoken word. If it doesn’t lineup with the Word of God, it’s NOT from Jesus or the Holy Spirit. Ghost, spiritual entities, and demons are here for one purpose, to deceive! With Halloween this month, the spirits will definitely be causing more chaos and remember, even Satan can masquerade as an angel of light.
Greater is our God within us than the one in the world. Keep our armor(Jesus Christ) on for the enemy cannot penetrate that armor.

1st time visitor.
Thank you for opening up eyes, hearts, and minds to the reality of spiritual warfare.
A thought I had as I was reading through your message..
As you wrote, if your not, then you are at risk
I think we are ALL at risk regardless. If Christ could not prevent the enemy from tempting him,
If he went into prayer and fasting,
I guess what I’m trying to say is, every element you mentioned is ESSENTIAL in our daily relationship with Christ.,
But even then, we are still at risk…
But now, with these elements we are not powerless, we are not blind, we are equipped, sharpened, and we CAN HIT THEM BACK BY THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF CHRIST.
You started off by saying , you’ve been under intense attack…
That’s what its been as of late, for many, many many,
We definitely need to be staying in contact with other fellow believers, thinking in creative ways, creating new ways to outreach, developing avenues for help where there isn’t any
Especially in the spiritual warfare area…so many churches don’t have a dedicated person, or deliverance minister, or a go to resource person who has experience , where a person can go in and talk about these things openly …and get answers.
Talking and teaching about demons, isn’t enough…
Tell me , train me, equip me, sharpen me, on how to use the SWORD which is my living word, how do I use the shield of faith, how do I attack these demons back?
Explain these very thing in church!
It’s mo.wonder people are falling asleep…
We are getting guns with no bullets.
God bless

Thank you for the comment and I agree, the Churches don’t equip Christians with the knowledge of Spiritual Warfare. But the biggest weapon for me, was the crucifixion of Christ planted in my mind and heart. God bless you…Robin
