As I look around the different social media platforms, catch news updates, come across some of the politics fiasco and the different ideologies being pushed, it becomes quite clear that the liberal minded believe that everyone has their “own truth”.
But is this really the case? And what does the Bible have to say about Truth?
There are many scriptures referring to Truth, but, not one time does Jesus say every man has their own truth and it’s okay to follow your own way. In fact the scriptures read;
John 1:14 – And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of The Only Begotten of the Father, full of Grace and Truth.
1 John 5:20 – And we know that the Son of God has come and given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
John 14:6 – Jesus said to Him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 4:24 – God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in Spirit and Truth.
From the scriptures listed we can clearly understand that Jesus is the TRUTH and everything He taught was taught, in TRUTH. But our world today isn’t interested in “actual TRUTH”, instead, many build themselves up in their own ways, their feelings and completely ignore God’s ways. The Scriptures read;
Isaiah 55:8,9 – For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.
Proverbs 14:12 – There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.
From the very beginning, God has told us that His Ways are different than our ways. We are flesh and bone, but, God is Spirit. We are flawed, deceitful and sinful, but, God is Holy, just and righteous. And we’re told the heart can’t be trusted, in fact, the scriptures reads;
Jeremiah 17:9,10 – The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? I, the LORD, search the heart; I examine the mind to reward a man according to His way, by what his deeds deserve.
God knows the hearts, He knows our ways and He knows our thoughts. So whether we choose to believe the Message Jesus, the Son of God, taught, each will have a decision to make. To choose the path of man, who pushes and believes in their own truth, OR, the Way of God. But remember this;
Mark 7:21 – For from within the hearts of men come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, debauchery, envy, slander, arrogance, and foolishness. All these evil come from within, and these are what defile a man.
Keep in mind, I’m not judging, because I’m ashamed of my past more than I can say. And the Bible teaches, we all fall short of the glory of God! No one is righteous in the eyes of God, the scriptures read;
As it is written: There is no one
righteous, not one. there is no
one who understands, no one
who seeks God. All have turned
away, they have together become
worthless; there is no one who
does good, not even one.
Romans 3:10-12
Please don’t fall for these snares, because it’s these things that can lead one straight to hell.
Following our own truth means we follow a lie that leads to destruction. That’s truth-not mine but Goe’s word. That’s truth the multitude do not want to hear.

Thank you so much for the comment and I agree Donna, many don’t want the actual TRUTH God gave us, instead, many prefer their own truth which will lead them to an eternal fiery destination. God bless you and have a wonderful day…Robin

Yes, we all fall short of the glory of God, but I also love the scripture that says: “God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” (II Cor. 5:21). So wonderful to have the righteousness of Christ credited to our account and realize that God sees us that way. I also love the one that says “We’ve had our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience.” I used to live under a load of guilt and condemnation for many years until I finally got the revelation of how God sees us. God bless.
