Out of the Heart

Christians are living in a time where we are being targeted, harassed, insulted, and persecuted for our belief in the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I’ve spoken about this in the past that followers of the Lord Jesus Christ must prepare their hearts because this world is against us. We do not think as the world does because as believers we stand on God’s truth. This is to be expected, especially, since Christ told us these things would happen. Sadly, many Christians have chosen to ignore His warning.

But what are some of the signs?

One of those ways is we can tell by what comes out of a person’s mouth. It’s the fruit that they spread among man. Sowing seeds of discord by trying to corrupt everything that is of God. But to truly understand this issue, the Lord Christ Jesus tells us;

Matthew 15: 19,20 – For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.

The Lord Jesus gives us a look at what is truly in man’s heart. If you’re a Christian and find yourself struggling with any of these issues, please repent so the Lord can renew you. But it’s important to note that those who do not follow Christ these issues are still in their hearts. And some will infiltrate Churches and introduce destructive doctrines. The Lord Jesus Christ tells us;

Matthew 15:8,9 – These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.

Unfortunately, many will fall away from the faith and follow deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. And this is exactly what we’re seeing today in many churches throughout the United States. These churches have taken on a worldly view instead of God’s. As a Christian I believe we must constantly evaluate our hearts to ensure we are following the Lord Jesus Christ as He taught.

For the non-believer there is Hope through the Lord Jesus Christ who came to redeem us. It’s only through His blood that we are reconciled to God.

The Good News is God made a way and it’s through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. God loved His creation so much that He sent His only Son to save us. The Lord Jesus Christ left His heavenly abode, took on flesh by being born of a virgin, preached God’s Word to the Jewish people, but was rejected by them. He was sacrificed due to their hostility toward Him, but, He actually chose to lay down His life to save us. But on the third day He rose, was seen by His Apostles and many of His disciples then ascended back to heaven.

Every person on earth has a past, which means, we all have sinned. This is why Christians are not to judge others, because before we came to Christ we were the same way. There is nothing impossible for the Lord, no sin is to big, no person is beyond redemption if they truly cry out to the Lord Jesus Christ to save them! There is only one way and the scriptures tell us;

John 14:6 – Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
